Oh Geez, Dwayne effing Staats, I almost forgot Dwayne & His magical muppets, I feel sorry for ya', but look on the bright side; at least you don't have to listen to Rex Hudler, or Joe Morgan, hell even Harold Reynolds would be a vast improvement, ..... on 2nd thought maybe not...!

I'm not the board Doc, Tote is, but I'd recommend ear plugs, with ear muffs, (the kind used around Jet Engines); a half a bottle of Bayer, Advil, or Aleve, ... take one toke over the line, and call me in the morning....!
 
Staats drones his way through games getting on ones nerves, but Kalas, I'd choke that guy if he got in close range. The St Pete city fathers gave the team permission to search for a potential new stadium site. I hope they find it in Charlotte or Montreal. Really disgusting to hear the Rays President touting what a great country Cuba is and how nice it will be to see Barry at that 3/22/ game. Maybe the Cubans will lock them all up and throw away the key.

1- :biglaugh:With MLB Xtra Innings, last year, one is able to get both Teams home stations. Only once did I ever watch the dog and pony show of Staats, and Kalas, only once, that was all I could handle. They both remind me a helluva lot of Rex Hudler the Homer, when He was doing the Angels Games. Hudler being the biggest Homer I have ever heard, called a game so pitifully, he often would not even tell the audience who on the other team was batting. Even if the Halos lost, he'd make it sound like they kicked ass, and Rex would never ever show the audience, what hits, HR's, RBI's the other team had, to win the game, on the Post Game show. He and Jose Mota really get on my nerves, but thank God Rex is no longer in L.A., after being fired, and is now the Royals demigod, check this one out YF-5545:

No you didn't Rick...... After they took Severino out I got bored and went upstairs to pack but left the TV on up there to give you guys updates. :bgrin:
 
Anyone who ever attended games at old Yankee Stadium will never forget the voice of Bob Sheppard. Reggie Jackson likened the mans voice akin to that of God. I don't remember the season but allegedly members of the Tampa Bay Broadcast Team were mocking Sheppards delivery, which I thought totally uncalled for given the mans longevity and success with some great Yankees Teams. Since that time I have pretty much cut out going to the Trop or listening to games when the Rays play in New York. Pretty damn disgusting that the Yankees last years excepted have lost season series to the local team which should be viewed as embarrassment by the Yankee Brain Trust along with other failures to succeed during post season.

Yeah Michael, I agree. Maybe they should change their name back to The Devil Rays.....:lol:
