The first one was great. After that, in my opinion, it was all downhill.I’m sitting in the theater watching this as I type because my kids begged me to go. I can’t stand these movies. So f’ing boring.
I actually saw it today, and it's good. It's biggest issues, to me, aren't plot but special effects.
I think a lot of the people who "hate it" are actually people who are just repeating what they heard other people say about it, without themselves actually seeing it.
Was a good movie, unfortunately good is not good enough for this franchise.
Im starting to feel that the reviews for Star Wars are more about getting clicks, or views on youtube than anything else.
I didn't like the direction of 7 and 8, especially in terms of all the main characters from 4, 5, and 6 (Han & Leia not together, Han being a smuggler again, Luke being a hermit, etc.) but since they couldn't be changed at this point I think they did a good job of "fixing" it with 9. Even if a lot of it seemed rushed I liked it as well.Read all the posts in the thread.
Don't care, I think it was great. Can't wait to watch it again. So many fun and loving tributes, Easter eggs, and homages to all the movies.
