I'm kinda surprised to see that you guys loved Rogue One. I saw it for the first time last week and didn't think much of it. Force Awakens wasn't fantastic either but I definitely think it's better than Rogue One.
Now you know how your wife is for all these years after sexI'm excited for the movie and the thought of the Jedi's ending makes me cry, but I agree, that trailer didnt get me more excited like I was hoping it would.
Apparently Luke is the last Jedi, but he won't be the last because Rey will become one, or she be the first of a new breed of heroes...nah
She'll become one of the X-Men, as it turns out that Star Wars is part of the Marvel cinematic universe, in Disney's grand plan. Phase 2.5.
God! In one fail swoop you have lost all of my respect! If there was only a way I could take back all my LIKES of you posts from the past! This might just be the nerdiest post in the history of this joint. For there to be balance in the force, there needs to be no fighting. No Jedi, no Sith. Neither side can rise up, otherwise you get this pendulum effect that just gets worse and worse. In a meta-as-narrative sense, you could say the reason all the movies echo each other is because each time, the force is trying to get a do-over, to get it right. Luke gets it. Entropy is the only solution. Balance out of nothingness.
Fucking RedLetterMedia man. They made it impossible for me to enjoy the new movies . . . but then again, I'd be sadder if I'd never seen a Harry S. Plinkett review.Me personally. I loved this film.

You're all welcome (or I'm sorry? ...)
I think it's a combination of the euphoria you feel when you laugh so hard that you stop breathing, and the relief that there is somebody out there more cynical and jaded than you. Good feels. The Red Letter Media/Plinkett reviews of the prequels are absolutely amazing.

It's not that big of a deal honestly. One of the biggest themes that they have been pushing with Star Wars Rebels is that there isn't a black and a white. A dark and a light. The force isn't that simple. There's a middle. There's a grey area. So it's possible that Luke has come to realize that there shouldn't be a Jedi order because the Jedi were too extreme towards the light, just as the Sith are too extreme to the dark.
