Would our replacement increase the chances that we take chances on young talent instead of the Malik's, Padgents, and Murry's, or is that really just up to megathron

Holy guacamole, batman!

Didn't see this coming. At all. Why?

Which part of why?

Why was Billy King fired? - That should be obvious

Why would Ed take this job? - Ed wants to have the top basketball job for an NBA team and this is his first opportunity. Otherwise he would have to wait around for Rod to retire. Additionally, location factors in to the equation.

Yeah, that was it. Oh well, good for Ed. I still can't wait for the news on who replaces him (Rod? or some other bum?).

I don't know enough about the Nets front office. Is this a good or bad thing for the Sixers and Nets, respectively? And why?

An empty chair is an improvement for the Sixers FO

Yea, questioning the firing of King is rather pointless. But I'm wondering more about how much of an improvement Stefanski is and if they were right to trust him with that job. And are you guys worried at all about letting him go to a division rival?

We all know the real reason Stefanski is leaving. Two words: Jason Collins. Even the guy that drafted him can't stand watching him anymore. J.C. has the power to make people actually want to move to Philly. Now that's talent.

Mark Jackson might not be a bad idea, he was in serious consideration for Memphis Gm role or maybe Kiki Vandeweghe

This just hit me... Jerry West for GM!!!! Thorn and West are best of friends and what more would any GM want more than bringing a great product to NYC? It would add more to his list ofprestigious accomplishments

Hm. That actually sounds pretty cool. And possible. Who knows.
