Alain Vigneault announced that Derek Stepan will be a game-time decision tonight against the Coyotes after his dental procedures yesterday. (Gross)
Vigneault said that not only did Stepan have one of his wisdom teeth removed but also two screws removed from when he broke his jaw in the playoffs against Montreal. (Gross)
He said that while Stepan is likely to play, if he can’t play then Kevin Hayes would center Rick Nash and Mats Zuccarello. (Zipay)

Give Step kudos. Not easy to play a focused hockey
game when he is not 100%. This is the nature of
hockey players.

They should just give him a game off so he doesn't exacerbate the injury. I would really like to see if Etem can contribute
