So.....you’re saying Draymond is gonna boot 3 sets of nutsacks tonight.....?I have a terrible feeling about this
GS was already motivated to beat us. They do not want to lose two straight to ANYONE and they were going into someone’s building that has won 8 straight
Now they’re going to rally around Steph’s injury and play like they’re the underdogs or some dumb shit like that
Durant goes for double nickel tonight
Klay 30
Draymond triple double
Of course I hope I’m dead wrong and an idiot
Hey, it's my thread. The only #2 I do is done in the privacy of a bathroom. Can we change the title of this thread to Game Thread #2 please

I don’t think MM was saying that. He was reminding those that we played about 6 teams in the first 1/4 of the season without their best player and we lost...... a bunch at home if I’m not mistaken. Thats all he was saying.

I brought it up earlier in THE ACTUAL GAME THREAD.....because I swore I saw somebody say this should be and “easy win” now. Which is foolish on so many levels and especially because we have played quite a few teams without their best player and still lost....at home. Guess I shouldn’t try to speak for MM huh?I don't think that's what he's saying at all, but best to let him clarify. He's most likely including players like Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry in his injured stars that have missed games against POR list.
I REALLY doubt if he's saying that. If we lost those games, how does that make us lucky?

Running through a query of games missed by players who were 15ppg+ scorers last year and had a VORP over 2.0. There were 35. So far through the first 10, there are a cumulative 139 games missed, with 6 of those being against Portland, tied for 4th most in the league. As I complete the research, I'll update my findings...I always get a kick out of posters who make those kind of posts as if the injured players only miss games against the Blazers.
Really? Did JinxSpeed take over your account? Arguing just to argue? All he means by using the term “lucky” is that we were given and easier opportunity than other teams. We played a bunch of teams without their stars is all. We were LUCKY they didn’t suit up......our team shit the bed and didn’t capitalize on the LUCKY opertunity we were handed obviously. Like right now, we are LUCKY to play the Dubs without Curry tonight.Well that's clearly not what he posted but then again, I'm not sure if I speak or understand MM language. lol
How could we be lucky if he meant we didn't win games against teams early in the season when they were missing a key player(s)

I always knew someone would stroke out on here, just never guessed it would be HCP.
lol. didn't mean to upset HCP (he seems like a cool guy) so much and not sure why he is so hell bent on speaking on behalf of someone else (mediocre man). Let the man speak for himself, but it is very clear what Mediocre Man said.
HCP is a nice guy but a very mediocre hispanic.
Better looking, male model alternate identity FAMS!You may be onto something...
Mediocre is spelled the same in Spanish as it is in English.
Maybe this whole time, Mediocre Man has really been HCP's alternate identity.

Is that what that was?I can’t believe I typed in Klingon and NONE of you gave me props. Also, I love that “FUCKING NERDS” is the same in both languages.
Let me put in a scenario most on here might be able to grasp........

This game is a measuring stick for us. To see if we can at least hang with them when they're firing on all cylinders.ALways wondered why people say that?
Not sure they will be full strength in the playoffs. The Warriors pretty much won a championship on the backs of injured teams they played 3 years ago. This game is a measuring stick for us. To see if we can at least hang with them when they're firing on all cylinders.
Not complaining, rather, it's frustrating that we can't face these teams at full strength to get an idea of how we might perform if matched up in the playoffs.
I can respect that, but at this point in the season and the situation we are in, I'll take an actual W over us playing well against a full healthy team and an L. Moral victories are for summer league. This game is a measuring stick for us. To see if we can at least hang with them when they're firing on all cylinders.

Yeah they still got Durant, Thompson and Green. Just those three make it a tough matchup on any given night. That said, I think this team WITHOUT Curry is still better than us, so we need to bring it regardless.
Plus, if they're starting Livingston, that's a lot of length for our backcourt to try to both score over and defend against. We're giving up several inches at nearly every position.Yeah they still got Durant, Thompson and Green. Just those three make it a tough matchup on any given night.
