He recently wrote a book and is on tour hawking it. I saw him interviewed yesterday and he's one of those "constitution is a living document" types. The scary part? He said the constitution doesn't define Liberty so basically government and the courts can define it for us.
Wow. Just wow.
I think this kind of thinking is dangerous. It is entirely contrary to what he claims the "living document" philosophy is all about. The constitution isn't about the government granting us Liberty, it's about us granting the government very restricted powers.
