Round 2, NBA playoffs.

:ohno:

Spurs and Jazz have an excellent chance to advance. Until the Thunder prove they can win one on the road in LA still going with the Lakers and hopefully with a great player in Roy playing, we can win. We for sure can make Nash pay on defense now that Rudy is where he belongs. We have also proven that we can win in Phoenix, even if did get blown out once already.

I was thinking about that today, too. It's a definite possibility.

Never fear. Uncle Dave is gonna step in soon enough.

Spurs and Jazz both up 3-1.

Amazing, considering that Antonio Harvey said several times this week, "Other than sweeps, teams NEVER win 3 in a row in a series." Utah and SA have both done exactly that. Now it's our turn.

Ironically, ALL lower-seeded teams, to boot.

That would be a first, I'm sure - the 1,2,3,4 teams all losing in the first round.

I love that Ralph Nader wrote the NBA about the officiating in that game 6. From Exploding gas tanks to a Forearm shiver.

Just checked. I was recalling '03 (and it looks like only the 1-2-3 lost; Vancouver beat St. Louis as the 4 seed). They played the '03-'04 season, but shut down for '04-'05.

I'm sure Stern can handle 1 Cinderella team......but that's his limit. Blazers and Thunder are the obvious candidates for a WWE style screw-job. Jazz over Denver really isn't a big upset, and the Spurs have history/credibility on their side.

Besides, he would no doubt enjoy screwing with Cuban!

Stern wouldn't mind his new poster boy for the NBA, Kevin Durant, to advance.

I had no idea Rudy had moved back to Spain.

Good for him.

Big fish in a small pond and all that.
