Per his sister on Canzano's show, Blake's signing a 4-year contract with the Lakers.

He is now dead to me.

Blaker!

I'm happy for him.

I always knew he was evil, now we have proof.

I wonder if he'll get the Jerome Kersey treatment and get booed when he comes to play here.

Fuck. I liked Blanky. His wife is pretty funny on teh twitters. now enemy territory.

Dang, he will be very good in the triangle. He has a little bit of D Fisher potential for them, just wait.

I'm telling you. He'll be like Brian Shaw was too us. Kill us in the playoffs with 3 point shooting.

Are they using the MLE to sign him? The bi-annual exception?

Yeah, Blakey will kill us with some dagger 3-pointer in a game down the road. It's one of the few things he's good at. Damn.

Hellz yes!

Can one of you guys be so kind to give me a quick breakdown of his shooting abilities and court vision?

Can't wait til he drops some daggers on the Blazers and Kobe and Ron Ron talk about what a great player he is, that'll be funny.

Good shooter from deep when he's open. Doesn't do anything particularly well.

Not in-depth analysis, I know... :)

He was pretty much the same player as Farmar last year.

Everyone who has any Steve Blake Blazers gear is now required to burn it. Sorry, its just how it works.

Can't run a fast break worth a damn, can't create either, but will for sure kill you if he's wide open at the 3-point line. Hard-nosed guy that won't take any crap, and he's an OK defender.

His best talent is mind control over the coaching staff, who will play him over more talented alternatives. Prepare for Kobe to be benched to make room for Blake to start.

Let's not insult Blake here. He's a very steady player, much better shooter from three, and (even though you guys like to dog his passing skills) a decent assist man. His vision is definitely not the best, and he doesn't like taking chances, but he's not a bad player. I think he'll do very well in the triangle.

Good stand-still shooter, not good at shooting off the dribble or off a cut. Court vision is below average for a point guard, IMO. He can make the routine passes, but not unexpected ones that catch the defense off-guard.

That's actually all I need to know. He should be able to get open a lot in the Triangle. Hopefully he can knock down the 3 ball for us! I'm excited about this.

And there is no way Farmar is as good as Blake. Just no way.

Great outside shooter ... ummm, other than that? He can't get into the lane, doesn't draw fouls and isn't much of a defender, but he is a pass first kind of guy

This is all you need to know.

He was only 2% better from 3, and Farmar had a better overall FG%.

He shot, and made, more three's. He's also a career 40% shooter while Farmer is a career 36% shooter. That's a pretty significant difference.

Fuck Steve Bl*ke.

And the Lakers, too!
