DAT says 40 points on Stanford and they use it as bulletin board material in Palo Alto. Stanford needed no more motivation and DAT did very little in that game but fumble and get worked.
Now both DAT and Huff are showing their disappointment about not being in the national championship and 75% of me values their honesty and pain but damn guys OHIO ST. is no slouch as history has proven! Use a little media discretion! Urban is a coach that will use every trick in the book to get a win and foster motivation. Away from that, the young guys look up to them for leadership. This type of mood is not the WIN THE DAY attitude Oregon preaches!
What this says to me is DAT is good as gone and HUFF is graduating so the loss to Stanford was the mental let go of the season for both of them.
To be honest I'm a little disappointed in their attitudes "publicly" and as "MEN OF OREGON!" I really hope this mental apathy doesn't show its head on the field in the next two weeks.
