This show is so much fun. I'm a little older (I was 21 and in college in 1983), but I grew up in Indiana. So, it brings back all kinds of childhood memories.

I also liked Freaks and Geeks. It was set in Michigan in 1980. I grew up 25 miles south of the Michigan state line and graduated from high school in 1979. So, again a very nostalgic look and feel for me.

In both cases, the music really adds to the period feel of the shows.

OK, I'm admittedly late to the game, just finished Season 3.

What a friggin' great show and season! It was all fun - the mall, the carnival, the kids growing up, the Russians, but nothing beat Steve Harrington spending the entire season in a sailor suit. Hilarious!
