Am I the only one on the board who played it as a kid, and through HS?

I've heard about it and it sounds fun, but I never came across it as a kid. I loved baseball and baseball cards as a little kid, so I'm sure I'd have loved to play.

How popular is the game these days? It seems like fantasy baseball (which was a pretty minor, non-mainstream activity when I was a kid) dominates now.
