Substitutions and in game adjustments

What is with our substitutions and adjustments? It's like we're just going with random people at random times. It's just too stupid, I can't understand it. Webster scores 8 points in a row and then doesn't get a shot for the rest of the game except at the VERY end. The Hawks kill the Blazers on the boards in the 4th and we don't put in either Joel OR Greg? I just, I don't get it. Are we TRYING to lose?

Today was the nail in the coffin when it comes to Nates incompetent ability to get the team to succeed when it counts. The Houston series was the main example last season, and so far this season, this Atlanta game proved for a fact that its Nate McMoron coaching this team. Sharing the same B-Ball IQ with Travis.

He is just way too overrated, he only got the Sonics to one playoff series if I remember correctly. I dont know how he can become an Olympic assistant coach with the decisions he's made recently.

Not at all. Nate's rotations and substitution patterns have been questioned throughout his tenure. While the team was growing up myself and others accepted Nate's explanations for the oddities... but it looks as though the honeymoon is over. This is now a team of experienced players and a few vets. The team I saw on the floor tonight did not exhibit purpose, but rather displayed a lack of focus.

Agreed. I hate the Blake/Miller backcourt! It's terrible, and moreso, 'Blakey' is the one who brings up the ball and sets up the offense while Andre is the one who sits in the corner waiting for the ball. It should be the other way around. Ugh.

How are we over reacting?

His substitution and play calling belongs in mini league. This is like the same B rated movie we have seen since Adelman left; getting to the playoffs and lose in the first round. We win games on talent not because of Nate. Oden has not improved one bit in 2+ years in PDX. He sat next to Nate for a whole year. What did they talk about dance, dance revolution?

Today he picked up to very stupid fouls in the 1st qrt. He is either stupid fouling a cutter to the basket at full speed or fouling the other center 20 feet from the basket while he Horford is back to our basket try to pass. It is Nate's job to get through to Greg and teach him how to stay on the floor.

How come Blake had to guard a 6'9" PF today 3 times in the 4th qrt? or Roy on Horford time and time again.

No center plays back to the basket this days. With Greg's athletic ability and size he has one play for him, pounding the ball back to the basket. Fuck McMillan, he is wasting our players carrier and should be fired. He had the whole summer, training camp and preseason to figure this out. He makes a pretty nice check for his troubles. Get a fuck out.
