the trade sure doesn't look like it was for the 2nd best of 3 generic picks. The Wizards traded for the 2nd best of the Portland-Milwaukee-Boston picks. We don't know what the 2nd best of those picks will be; or the best or worst. I'm wondering how the Blazers could trade any of those picks right now unless it went to another team conditionally.

So the Blazers can offer the best of the three to either Milwaukee or Boston and it's all irrelevant. Does it really matter if they're getting their own pick back?

camara and #11 to philly for #3
but who are we targeting at #3? Ace Bailey? We already have Sharp and Deni. So unless you think Bailey will be a franchise star and a lot better than Sharpe, I wouldn’t do it.

#3 is in play for the big swing when it is ours too. zion? jones and #7 and future 1sts and/or swaps from NOP? we have one of the very best talent evaluators in schmidtz. would have too be his call on value of #3. that is why he makes the big bucks.

I’ll take Smith and Reed in the deal if Mil wants any picks back. Smith would be nice off the bench and Reed can shoot, he didn’t get much opportunity last season.

If we're a third team in the trade those swaps should be treated with the same value as FRPs. The Bucks look like they're about to start a rebuild and rebuilds for small markets can take a long time.

I don't mind if we are the third team but we should be getting solid value for those swaps if they're going back to the Bucks.

Just Reed.
Smith is just another Grant type player. Too passive.

Nice to have leverage and be on someone else's speed dial. I'm skeptical Giannis gets moved even though that's what they should do.

I have reg contact with a roundball junkie from Milwaukee, he seems to think its possible, they may give it one more year with some roster changes. Who knows?

I hope so. One more run-it-back run makes the Portland picks/swaps perhaps more valuable to the Bucks than New Orleans, who will control only one more of their drafts.

Joe should hold on to those picks for dear life until the offers are too good to refuse. So far nothing I have seen proposed is close enough. If Gianni’s leaves MIL is is better to keep those picks since they have to tear it down to the studs

Depends. If we can get excellent value for them in a Giannis trade, I say do it.
