Summer "BIG Swing" trade

And getting rid of PG's contract. I don't know if Ant makes much sense for the them so but I think he has value so maybe they'd turn around and flip him.

And #11, which in their mind (since they are obviously not too excited with anyone at 3) might be just as good.

I'll be shocked if the Sixers move #3. I think it is much more likely they rebuild.

They certainly should. But maybe Morey is under pressure to build around Embiid now. It seems like everyone at 3 is at least a couple of years away from being playoff-ready.

If we got the 3rd pick, absolutely. I think the Blazers are the only team that would take on Dame's contract, knowing he might never be the same again.

I'd totally do it. Removing the two biggest chuckers on the team for either Ace Bailey or VJ Edgecomb and a great mentor for Scoot.

Oh I think they will consider trading #3.

But for Ant or Grant or both..... Ummm 0% of that lol.

Yeah duh of course we do it. Every team in the league would take #3 over Ant or Grant. Laughable homer trade idea.

While taking on Paul George and arguably the worst contract in the league? I bet you it's a lot closer than you know.

Houston: Durant
Phoenix: Simons, Grant, 10
Blazers: Smith Jr., Brooks

If they really want Jabari as much as they seem to...

Real GM says it works.

It's not like Grant is on a great contract. The Grant Ant duo earns about 10 million more next season. So its what 30 million saved over the final years of Grants deal if you let Ant walk for nothing?

There were reports the franchise that got Flagg would have its value increase 500+ million. There isn't any GM in the league that's dumping the #3 pick for $30 million.

It's a laughable homer trade idea.

You were probably too young to remember when Antonio McDeyess was traded for Rodney Rogers. I think Portland would have to throw in #11 and I think it would be close.

If the Grizzlies really want Deni and the Hornets are ready to move on from LaMelo...

No. They're good players, but (a) it sounds like they're being overpriced and (b) they're out of our timeline. I mean, if the Celtics were offloading them cheap, then fine, but...
If we are supposed to swing for the fence why would we need to be on the cheap...
