Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't have given Blazerbeliever the benefit of the doubt. I thought he was being sarcastic.
 
It's rough when the only guy who can actually shoot is Cunningham.... other than that, Jerryd doesn't really have anyone else to pass to.
 
Ha I just tried to log into the NBA page for watching the game and it won't even come up. They must be running the web page off of the same bandwidth of the feeds. They should hire some talent that has done these things before sometime....

I can tell, that like last year, some people are reading way too much into these summer league games.

I am really surprised that there was not even an attempt of a low-post pick and roll with Pendergraph. Maybe he is just not the right player for that - but we are seeing classic McMillan offense here with Bayless/Cunningham replacing Roy/Aldridge. Lots of pick and pops, not a lot of pick and rolls.

Yea that is why I was laughing when Bayless said his goal was 10 assist per game in the Summer league. Most teams don't have any players who can catch and finish, let alone 1 or 2, and then they have only played together a few hours. On the other hand, so has the defenses I guess. Anyhow, I found most summer league play is pretty ugly. Good luck on those 10 assist, almost halfway there!

Cunningham's not really giving anyone else a CHANCE to shoot. :) He shot 12 shots, which means that the rest of the team other than Bayless only shot 16.

At least he made half of 'em in the first half...

Perhaps, but isn't it at least nice to see Jerryd comfortable out there running the team like a more traditional point guard? He's getting people setup in their spots, he's attacking the lane and kicking and finding open guys and he just looks comfortable out there. If the opposite were true there'd probably be a lot more cause for concern.
 
I swear.. more people are in this game thread than there were during times in the regular season. Crazy!

Yea I just see the numbers, I can't log into the site to see the game. So I can't really say. It sounded to me like he was on the receiving end of some setups earlier though, from what people were posting. Hopefully after the game is over I can just download it and watch it.

I like to see him trying. When he can do it at the highest level I will be impressed, but the fact that he's looking to improve in that area is putting a smile on my face.:bgrin:
 
bayless could easily have like 5 more assists dang summer league
 
Is Pendergraph running out of gas? He hasn't played as much as JayBay or Dante

I'm not sure about the assist count (I haven't been keeping score at home), but yeah, I like Cunningham so far, very athletic and a much better shooter than I was expecting.

Edit: I should say pretty athletic relatively speaking, it's hard to say what he's going to look like compared to real NBA players.

That's funny I met Jerome Kersey a couple of days ago at my work. He's a nice guy.
 
so pendergraph is 3/5 for shooting and 2 off and 3def rebounds.
but cunningham is 7/15 FG and 3-1 rebounds. I think it's going to be a tough call of who to sign.
