Rashad James needs to go straight to hell.

This matchup between Vonleh and Towns is entertaining. I like it. Leave the kid on him.

Montero has looked comically bad this summer league. He'll be cut.

Vonleh is a beast on the O-boards!

I really like this Montero kid, but I don't know if we have enough minutes to develop him.

Someone needs to tell Montero that he doesn't have to fade away on every shot he takes. You don't get extra points for style.

Towns is legit, but I don't think this season is going to be seamless for him. Always tough for a big guy.

That kid just needs to be a part of NBA practices. He's possibly the most raw player I've ever seen.

Montero needs TONS of work. Like 5 solid years of putting in time to learn the game and bulk up.

Montero is so raw, I actually saw a ref have to tell him that there could only be three guys inside the circle during the foul shots.

Earlier, he did a step back move, was wide open, but much to my dismay, he still opted for the fadeaway. He swished the shot though. Maybe that's just how he shoots. :dunno:

Montero is supposed to look raw. He's supposed to struggle. But between those struggles you see his talent. You see his length. And you see someone you can develop because 6'7 guys with a handle don't grow on trees

Agreed, but the foundation is there. Not sure if he will reach it with us, or ever.

Why does Montero fadeaway on every jumper

I love how the announcer shit all over the mention of a Timbersolves renaissance.

Why does Montero fadeaway on every jumper

My guess is that before now, his competition were probably all either too short or unathletic to block it, so he probably learned he could get that shot off whenever he wanted. Gotta break that habit and take better shots.

Considering Towns has 5 points from foul shots, I think Vonleh has played him point for point.

Pat leaves a lot of shots short. Still adjusting to the NBA 3?

He left it short a bunch of times in the last game too. Not sure if he's adjusting to the longer range or an endurance problem. Hopefully, he'll get it figured out by the regular season. Our team really needs sharpshooters
