I agree with everything you're saying. Thing is, it's gonna be extremely hard to add the type of players you're talking about. I was wondering if there's a course of action (trade this pick for this player, or shed salary with picks to sign this player, etc.). Reason why is because Olshey will get a ton of hate if he doesn't, which I understand. I bet he wants the type of roster makeup you're talking about, and you guys would probably agree on all of it. Thing is, he might not have any way to get that done. Therefore, if he doesn't, does it make sense to hate on him afterwards? Just saying it's easy to talk about what type of players we need, but it's a lot harder trying to think of which players will fit that bill, which ones are available via trade or free agency, how could we clear money to have a chance at them in free agency, and really overall, how exactly do we get such players?

The entire bench and hope Larry Bird falls in love with Leonard, Layman and Connaughton...Nate will like Crabbe, Napier, Turner or Harkless..Ezeli's expiring..anything they want...You get George and keep our 3 best players, you're onto something. Paul George would thrive with Dame, CJ, Vonleh and Nurk..let Aminu be his backup...Chief is on a really friendly contract...

I would take my chances on PG. I think he would really enjoy playing with Dame, Nurkic and C.J.

Amir Johnson, Lucas Nogueira both fill a need and have stellar DRPM. It would be nice to get like a Tristan Thompson who could shoot threes, but that guy wouldn't be available.

Same with Kyle O'Quinn and James Johnson.

Hmm...now I am wondering the same thing. I believe they can since the clippers also have the bird right to Harrell. But I am not 100% sure on that. If we can pull something like that off then that would be huge. Harrell would be better off of the bench than Whiteside since he give you that kind of energy that the fans love

Rare, but possible. Golden State and Brooklyn signed-and-traded KD for D-Lo just last summer.

Personally, I'd say it's unlikely that the Clippers want Whiteside.
