I have been to Jamaica a few times, and loved it!!!!! We stay all inclusive because leaving the resorts isn't the safest thing in the world.

We got a good deal because of someone I know. I am brown bagging it to work though because I refuse to fly coach all the way to flippin Tahiti and back
You should change your name after the vacation. You're 'mediocre' no longer.

Going to Vegas in May. Then going to Mexico (PV or Cancun) in September for an all inclusive stay.

Sandals baby!!! ALL-inclusive meeee to

Cant wait

I have pretty much decided, after traveling for many years, that there is no reason at all not to go all-inclusive if there is that option where you are traveling. I get that there are no AI's in Ireland, for example, but if you are going to somewhere sunny, go AI

If you go to PV, I recomend Dreams resort. I also recomend the booze cruise for an extra 75 per person. It's a pirate ship that feeds you as well, and then shoots fireworks out of it's cannons.

This list?

Too each his own. But I prefer actually exploring outside of the hotel. Going to the best local restaurants and actually getting a feel of the place, not just the pool side service.

I suppose AI is for when you get old? :dunno:

I definatley think age plays a part in it.

I used to like doing those things, but now vacation to me means doing NOTHING for an extended period of time.

I am pretty young, and the idea of staying in Cancun @ an all inclusive bar, drinking my worries away with my friends and g/f on a hot sunny perfect beach sounds damn near perfect. ;o)

Although there is something to be said about exploring the surroundings.... maybe its just more based on the locale?

The reason for me is the food. At first it all taste pretty good . .. but by week's end I'm burnt out on it.

If I'm going all inclusive, I read lots of reviews before signing up. I guess I've had different experiences with all inclusives . . . but I've doen the sandles, club meds and some mexican all inclusives.

I do like the fact you really are only spending shoping money and booze money . .. . heck it's not even money, they are just beads. :D

All Inclusive would be cool...as would winging it and doing the local thing. I heard some places have unlimited alcohol. That would rock.

Every AI that I have ever been to has unlimited drinks and food. Nothing better than going to dinner and not having to choose between the Prime Rib and Lobster........I would like both please. You just have to tell the bartender that you want top shelf alcohol, or you get the cheap stuff. The other best thing abotu AI's is some don't even accept tips. Tips are supposedly included in your cost....which is cheap. I tried to give our waiter $50 when we got there to keep feeding me drinks. He would not take it until the 3rd day, but I literally had a drink brought to me on my hammock every 15-20 minutes. He also served our party of 8 6 premixed bottles or tequilla poppers and shook the shit out of our heads with a towel one night in the nightclub. That's it, I am going back to Dreams later this year period.

What's the best one for the single traveller? haha. I'm doing a cruise in like 3 weeks, I think all the food and non-alcoholic drinks are free.

yeah, i heard those are fun. hah..we'll see.

"yeah, I'll be at Hedonism for a week"

how much is it? they want me to register on line to see.

Its on my to-do list. definitely not going to get married anytime soon so I have time.

so its better than backpacking through europe? haha.
