Why does Barkley say that even if all our injured guys come back we still don't have any low post presence... excuse my ignorance but WTF is G.O.?

Because even though Oden is/was slowly getting there, this team is still terrible at getting points in the paint.

Sure you can. And you can freeze your ass off all winter and be miserable in the rain. The coldest you'll see during the year is 35 in Phoenix. Awesome year round weather.

Love JB's effort; still dont know why we cant get a good offensive set going to get Roy moving and scoring, Frye's killing us, and Aldridge needs to D-up.
Webster needs to be coming off some more screens for shots, and Miller/Blake .... aight..

Course if you love snowboarding, the rain and freeze, is awesome... :) :ghoti:

The one thing I'm not feeling about Phoenix is that it's sunny all the time. That just seems odd.

Oh, that and the fact some neighborhoods have been hit so hard that they're basically completely abandoned. My wife and a good friend are in the real estate industry and spend time in Phoenix as they have an extension of their business there. Some areas there are really jacked up.

I can also go to the coast in Oregon or Washington.

Sun isn't everything.

I guess so, but Phoenix is a hell hole of strip malls, cul-de-sacs, sprawl and asphalt. I'd much rather live in a place like Flagstaff if I was going to live in AZ; where you at least get seasons and a ton of sunshine regardless.

Charmin Frye outscored any Blazer in the half. Give credit to Phx coaches and Steve Nash for realizing he's only worthwhile if he's shooting, and then only from range. That's fitting your plan to your players rather than the other way around.

So last year you wanted him taking the shots instead of.............Rudy? Travis? LMA? Roy? Yeah lets change our game plan for Channing Frye.

This is Phoenix's style. They didn't change anything

But to totally discount him and not even mention him...seems stupid.

Really? He's going to have missed 164 out of a possible 246 games his first three years in the league. I know we all hope and pray that Greg is going to come back and never have any more setbacks, but which seems like the smarter play here?

I've been hearing the same thing. Haven't been back since 05, but would love to get back there soon at least to see how things have changed.

He might come back this season.

Ugg, I'm not starting the whole " Is he reliable" discussion...Barkley said "Even if all their injured players come back they (The Blazers) have NO post presence." You 100% agree with that statement?

I guess we'll agree to disagree, but I've been to nearly every state and most of the major cities in the entire country and 15 different countries. The only place I've liked better than Phoenix is Tokyo. When I retire in another 30 years I'll be back in Phoenix, Portland or Seattle.

Miller is sloppy. Why does he play like a rookie sometimes?

Yes. And I explained why.

Sure they did. You didn't see Shaq taking any 3's last year, and you don't see them running post-ups for Frye this year. I'd rather than Rudy or Travis driving and kickoug out to Frye than Frye posting up. The Blazers chose to let him go after he couldn't do anything for us (he flat out stunk here), but it looks like he can be a pretty important player after all.

I could understand if Phoenix was known for their defense, but this is a pretty pathetic start of the 2nd half.

Bayless becoming the best PG on the team! Miller airs layups and bad passes and Blake is just Blake.
