All of our players are perfect and our team shouldn't change a thing!

What a shit thread, and from a mod. Great job.
Grow some thicker skin and discuss it in that thread then instead of this lame shit.
We're doing what we should be doing - having close, hard fought games, and losing at the end. This is the best way to get the draft pick that we need to maximize our success in the offseason.

Thicker skin? How about the people who throw a fit about the forum and talk about leaving because someone has a different opinion than they do?
That's not in question; the problem is people who flip the fuck out as soon as someone talks about trading Aldridge, like it's the biggest slap in the face to even mention his name in possible trades.

Have you ever traded in a car? You can't expect the starts to align and get equal value back.
Do any of those players command a double team? But what exactly is "equal value" for a player? The same stats? The same star quality? All-Star appearances?
I think trading Aldridge to get back talent at positions of need is equal value. My example of Sanders, Redick, and a signed Jefferson or Milsap is equal value in my opinion.

My problem with Trade Assumptions is that there are so many moving variables it's almost unrealistic to propose them
You're wrong. We need to dilute our talent by trading all stars for role players. And keep on doing that. in a few years, it'll be Lillard's turn and we can have a bunch of "under the radar" guys who will one day....be awesome.
Then when they become the focus on the team, we will obviously need to trade them again.
The more obscure the better. Gotta be a basketball hipster.
I HATE hipsters! They actually wake up and go out of their fucking way to dress like NERDS!
I WON'T BE HAPPY UNTIL SOMEONE RECOGNIZES HOW WELL I CAN PICK OUT OBSCURE NBA PROSPECTS YOU'VE PROBABLY NEVER HEARD ABOUT. :MARIS61:
