All of our players are perfect and our team shouldn't change a thing!

Let the cake bake baby :ghoti:

What a shit thread, and from a mod. Great job.

Well, I just figured all you guys who get pissed off because someone has the audacity to question one of our players might need a little cheering up.

Grow some thicker skin and discuss it in that thread then instead of this lame shit.

Thicker skin? How about the people who throw a fit about the forum and talk about leaving because someone has a different opinion than they do?

We're doing what we should be doing - having close, hard fought games, and losing at the end. This is the best way to get the draft pick that we need to maximize our success in the offseason.

they can as well. And if they start lame ass threads like this that say....
Trade everyone for draft picks for all the loser rebuild crowds, then they should be told to go pound sand as well.

Exactly

That's not in question; the problem is people who flip the fuck out as soon as someone talks about trading Aldridge, like it's the biggest slap in the face to even mention his name in possible trades.

Perhaps they should've practiced their free will and stop reading the thread. LMAO!

Have you ever traded in a car? You can't expect the starts to align and get equal value back.

Well, as I just said in another thread... if LeMarcus can't acknowledge that Lillard is the best player on the team, he will NEED to be traded. You probably listened to the recent discussion on truehoop that the best players exert the extra energy needed to win in the 4th quarter. LMA can't really do that, Lillard can.

Have you ever traded in a car? You can't expect the starts to align and get equal value back.

But what exactly is "equal value" for a player? The same stats? The same star quality? All-Star appearances?

I think trading Aldridge to get back talent at positions of need is equal value. My example of Sanders, Redick, and a signed Jefferson or Milsap is equal value in my opinion.

But you can't for the sake of discussion just say and signing these people like it's a guarantee. The trade is Sanders and cap space. Not the guarantee of others. Sanders and cap space.

Do any of those players command a double team?

My problem with Trade Assumptions is that there are so many moving variables it's almost unrealistic to propose them

I've always wondered why so many people here give up on a player if they have one single bad quarter and then coronate some bit player an all-star if they have a once-in-a-lifetime game and score 12 points.

Jefferson, if we could sign him.

You're wrong. We need to dilute our talent by trading all stars for role players. And keep on doing that. in a few years, it'll be Lillard's turn and we can have a bunch of "under the radar" guys who will one day....be awesome.

Then when they become the focus on the team, we will obviously need to trade them again.

The more obscure the better. Gotta be a basketball hipster.

I WON'T BE HAPPY UNTIL SOMEONE RECOGNIZES HOW WELL I CAN PICK OUT OBSCURE NBA PROSPECTS YOU'VE PROBABLY NEVER HEARD ABOUT. :MARIS61:
