What teams have been surprises this year?

What teams have been disappointments this year?

Surprises:

Chicago. without Rose they're doing decent.
Golden State. Wow, 11 games over .500
Clippers. Winners of 17 in a row
NY. Never thought they'd be this good.
Portland. (Borderline).

Disappointments:

Brooklyn.
Lakers.
Dallas

Anyone else?

It's been hard to tell, because there have been such massive swings. Remember when the Bobcats looked decent? And hey, they beat the Bulls in Chicago last night! But in between... Also, Houston has been very up and down (unsurprising, given McHale's personal tragedy), the Nets were good for a while and then nosedived. Even Chicago is looking bad right now (Noah especially) because the minutes are taking their toll. Meanwhile Indiana started slow but seem to be putting it together. Dallas (and Mayo, and Collison) looked good. Then Collison tanked and the other two followed.

But yes, the constants are that the Clippers and Warriors are suprisingly good.

Is it surprising that the Spurs are STILL SO good?

No surprises.

Stotts/Blazers an expected disappointment so far.

Are the Lakers a disappointment? I'm not disappointed at all.

Why aren't the Hawks mentioned in this thread?

Indiana has played well w/out Danny Granger
Boston is a big disappointment at 14-16
Milwaukee has been a bit of a surprise
