It's HCP's fault.
Heh.
But if it's happening during the commercials, HCP (the blazer truck) isn't the source. It's Concast. And they suck.

Why do you think this one channel has problems and others not? Or do they all suck?
I'm getting really bad screeching during tonights game. Only on Comcast any other channel goes away. Sucks I have to watch either muted or not at all. Started giving me a headache.

I actually DM'd HCP about this tonight, it was really bad tonight was giving me a headache infact![]()

David Cohen, Comcast Corporation Executive Vice President is on C-SPAN right now, talking about the merger.
You'll be able to watch it (if you want to) on C-SPAN's site later.
Thank you to everyone who sent constructive emails to us about this issue. There are a lot of moving parts in a Blazer broadcast including the truck, the Moda Center studio, CSN Master Control and then local headends for any cable provider that carries the channel.
This issue was here, went away and now seems to be back. Please know we ARE working to fix this not just ignoring it like some have said/implied. Please keep us posted as the more data we have (zip codes/games it happens/cable provider/etc) helps our techs isolate the issue.

Don't let the bitching get to you, I appreciate you taking the time to post here. Are you in the broadcast division, repair or public relations?

Proactively saying you're working on it, and fixing the issue in less than two months might have gone a long way to preventing the impression that CSNNW was ignoring or unaware of the issue. But thank you for at least publicly discussing it now, even if you're in firefighting mode. My sympathies to you, the actual person who has to come on the forum and represent such a slovenly provider. It's not your fault, and I understand that.
oh this might get ugly!
Would it make you feel better if they had Dwight Jaynes take you out to lunch?
They would have been better off just fixing the issue and not posting about it.
I did notice no matter how kind and courteous it seemed to be on the surface. The typical Comcast jargon was evident. Which made it feel less sincere.
Bottom line just fix the problem. Your customers who are loyal are worthy of it.
