1. I have not. Being that I'm white and grew up in a very white community, discrimination is something that's never really happened to me or anyone else.

2. Not really. Again, being from Iowa, discrimination very rarely occurs here. Most people are actually nice to you, regardless of sex, race, religion, orientation, etc.

1. Age discrimination, been fired unfairly several times, made to work non-stop for 3 months, then get laid off so they dont have to increase pay and pay their taxes.

2. I remember i saw a little tough italian guy call a 6'6" somalian dude a ******, and the somalian guy, who i knew well, just had to walk away because this fukin italian guy had like 15 other italians around him. I went up to the somalian guy and asked why he walked away and why he didnt stand up for himself and he said he couldnt because they would have just beaten him up, its terrrible, but alot of young italian, turkish, lebanese guys here in australia are really really rascist, nationalist and beat up alot of people, its very dangerous in some areas for someone like me, you know, white, and they see you and they immediatly hate you, and want to kill you. ive had to run away from big ethnic gangs like this chasing me for blocks with knives and poles and and chains, just because im not them, because im a white guy, its fucked that this kind of rasism still occurs today.

1. I usually have trouble catching a cab, especially during the evenings/nights. Back in high school my friends and I were often followed by police a lot. Those were two major things that bothered me, but there have been a lot of little small other things.

Racial, sexual, religious

Not sure if this really counts but I almost got into a fight with someone at Wal-Mart after they made some very racist comments about a Latino couple speaking Spanish and how they should learn to speak "American." I told them off about how they were speaking "American" because America was founed on the principles of tolerance and embrace of other cultures, languages, and religions. I also mentioned that someone who can't speaking English shouldn't comment on others ability to speak the language.

Also, when I attended Butler a few years ago, and at the height of the immigration debate, there was a professor with a "wetbacks" bumper sticker on his truck, a bunch of students got together and TPed it.
