Will we have anyone suspended for the next game?

I didn't personally see any punches thrown, but I thought some people said they saw LMA throw one.

No he was waving his arms to go at the team. Didn't hit anyone

I know someone said it, but I watched the replay twice and I didn't see an actual punch thrown... just some shoves.

I have heard that Mags will be suspended for 4 games.

barfo

Mo will probably be suspended & maybe Aldridge. Mo threw a punch and kinda looked like LMA did too.
I'll be shocked if Bogut isn't suspended.

Mo might get suspended. I saw LMA and Mo with what could have been punches, but they probably won't face severe consequences. Bogut deserves to get another tech after the fact + suspension.

Rewatched the vid. Mo threw a punch. He's getting a game as well.

LA just shoved him.

I looked at this replay a ton, and do not see aldridge throwing a punch at all.

But Bogut will. It was a joke he was able to stay in in the first place.

If you look at the 40 second mark you can see Aldridge miss with a shove/punch. He's very lucky he didn't actually hit someone.

watching.... Okay... I can see how you could think that's a punch... but he connects to his kidney with his elbow...

I don't consider that a punch to do harm... it literally almost looked like momentum.

However, if they suspend LMA for that they HAVE to suspend Bogut, without question.

Bogut should absolutely get a game suspension.

Even more so because he wasn't tossed when he should have been.

The rules are clear. If you throw an elbow or punch at the head or neck it is an automatic ejection. The only thing that makes any sense is the refs did not have all the camera angles we had. But I think they screwed it up bad regardless.

If anybody thinks they can read the minds of David Stern and his deputy then you're one up on me. Who knows how they come down on this scuffle.

I'm not saying they should suspend LMA, but IF he actually hit, (regardless of intention) it could have been really bad.

The thing that kills me is Mo and Bogut were teammates in Mil. And Bogut went after Mo. lol

Bogut is still probably pissed that in their Milwaukee days, Mo kept jacking up shots and not feeding him in the post.

Yeah.. I don't know... I watched that little spurt about 7 or 8 times and it looks more like momentum from -something-. What it exactly was, I don't know. But it LOOKED more like shoving, and if that's the case, he won't get suspended or EVERYONE in there gets suspended for shoving. lol.

Jaynes on Bogut's elbow, "I didn't think it was that bad." What a complete idiot. It was an elbow, and it is an automatic ejection.

"Violent acts of any nature on the court will not be tolerated. Players involved in altercations will be ejected, fined and/or suspended.

Officials have been instructed to eject a player who throws a punch, whether or not it connects, or an elbow which makes contact above shoulder level. If elbow contact is shoulder level or below, it shall be left to the discretion of the official as to whether the player is ejected. Even if a punch or an elbow goes undetected by the officials during the game, but is detected during a review of a videotape, that player will be penalized.

There is absolutely no justification for fighting in an NBA game. The fact that you may feel provoked by another player is not an acceptable excuse. If a player takes it upon himself to retaliate, he can expect to be subject to appropriate penalties."

The only thing that makes sense to me is that the Blazers get shit on. So we'll be fucked by Stern and his chronies. This is usually how it happens. If it doesn't go down, you can thank me for calling out these clowns on the Blazers' official board.

I mean, the refs tried to fuck us on the court, I'm sure Stern will levy hard "for the fairness of the game" and dick us hard for some phantom reason, and then we come out and fuck shit up that one game we have some players suspended.

All I can say is we beat these dudes. We are better. Bring on the next game.

Go Blazers.

I couldn't possibly disagree more. The NBA completely overreacted to fighting after the Pacers-Pistons brawl. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be repercussions for throwing a punch, but if guys want to square up and have it, it would eliminate a lot of the "fake tough guy posturing" bullshit that goes on now-a-days.
