Nothing reported. Probably nothing is going to happen. That's good. I think tempers flared and the league knew it.

I have a feeling tomorrow we'll hear all about it. Bogut has to get a game.

Sorry dude. Pretty pathetic post. Asking a fan not to support his team after a loss? Asking him to be a bandwagon fan? What kind of fan are you? As a fellow Giant's fan one would think you would have more loyalty. I used to sit in a cold MFing Candlestick in the early 80's when they lost 100. Come on man, be a real fan. No disrespect intended, just an opinion from one message board friend to another

Blah blah blah barf. I don't blame his support. Thought it was pretty obvious my post was in jest. Your post, and vag, is soft and moist. I didn't ask him to abandon his team, as another poster pointed out. I'd guess your team lost and your upset and took it out on my post. Step back off the ledge, homie. It's just sports. With a weak-ass post like this, don't call me friend. Your shit is weak. And so are you. Waaaaaah.

BTW, thanks Julius. Any real/regular poster here would know my post was mostly in jest. BP's sig was likely in frustration last week and I get it. Felt the same way. After yesterday's embarrassment.... had to poke fun or be upset. I choose to take it as sports and not be a cranky bitch.... I have a few friends who choose to act like life is over.

I get PW's frustration, too. After betting $100 and betting his life we had no chance of winning.... One sad, sad fan with no belief in his team.... I'd have egg on my face too, if I were such a fair-weather fan. I believe. He doesn't. Don't hate - he's one of many.

I'm guessing LA gets a game suspension for that shove. Bogut gets a game or two as well.

Given the weak-ass shit they give Portland in-game and nothin to Bogut, the let LA off and suspend Bo-douche a game and call it a day. As they say, they consider i -game punishment as part of the ultimate result, that seems fair to me. Neither Mo nor Wes should have been ejected, so that BS counteracts LA's behavior, and nothing happens if Bogut isn't a ghey douchebag.

My bad. Your previous post was not pathetic. This one on the other hand....

Well, to be fair, Matthews already had a tech from a couple minutes earlier, and with his actions he did deserve a T, so he was ejected primarily because he picked up two techs.

And he picked up that first t because David lee leveled Aldridge and walked by like he was king shit after a dirty hit that could have seriously injured him of course refs call a travel but some how golden state fans see refs handing us the game?

Blazersedge bitch was trying to rat him out.

@blazersedge: public criticism of officials RT @blazerschris: Ridiculous. Just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dave from BE is such a freaking joke. He's the Canzano of Blazer bloggers.

Seems to me like your post was more "cranky bitch" than "mostly in jest". :dunno:

Anyhow, any suspensions from the slapping fest last night?

Lol. But no, I don't really get too cranky. Not over college football. OSU is little brother, Ducks are pretenders. I don't really care about BP's sig, but he and I give each other shit all the time here, so I figured I'd give him some more. Someone took it a little bit serious.

I apologised 5 minutes after the initial post. I mis-read what you were talking about because some how my signature feature was turned off. I never saw what you were referring to. I admit it was my bad, I should have ignored your post regardless. Probably a good reason why we have a separate forum for college football.

I hope no suspensions come out of this. If they suspend Bogut, they are probably going to suspend Mo as well and the Blazers don't need that right now.

I thought the fact Bogut wasn't ejected was "bogus," but the unfairness of it seem to motivate LA and the Blazers . . . so in the end it favored the Blazers. I say call it good and move on.

more importantly, does Bogut get the Felton Boo treatment March 16 and Apr 16 in Moda?

What did Bogut do wrong?

Inadvertent elbow is the same as an inadvertent punch, if it lands around the neck and above.

http://www.nba.com/analysis/rules_k.html

Violent acts of any nature on the court will not be tolerated. Players involved in altercations will be ejected, fined and/or suspended.

Officials have been instructed to eject a player who throws a punch, whether or not it connects, or an elbow which makes contact above shoulder level. If elbow contact is shoulder level or below, it shall be left to the discretion of the official as to whether the player is ejected. Even if a punch or an elbow goes undetected by the officials during the game, but is detected during a review of a videotape, that player will be penalized.

There is absolutely no justification for fighting in an NBA game. The fact that you may feel provoked by another player is not an acceptable excuse. If a player takes it upon himself to retaliate, he can expect to be subject to appropriate penalties.

Bogut threw an elbow at freeland that connected around his neck and chin and also pushed (closed fist) Mo Williams above the should level. Even Mo's supposed punch was "open handed"; which means it wouldn't be considered a punch.

I understand the 2nd tech was the reason for the ejection, but I don't recall him doing anything deserving of the 2nd tech. It looked to me like he was initially trying to separate the scrum. Same with Mo until he got shoved around a bit - only then did he lose control. Admittedly my memory is foggy.

LMA totally traveled before getting leveled. He took a hard hit, but Lee was in the air and LMA walked, literally, right into it.

Yeah, I used to read his analysis after everygame, this last off-season and season has changed my opinion of his work. I wonder if he had some non-Blazer drama?

You're correct, he did travel, but lee was walking by with his chest puffed out instead of having class and making sure he was ok. Twice this season blazer players have seen opponents go down with injury and they almost stop play before coaching staff yells at them to play the advantage. It's the classy thing to do to make sure a man down is ok. Rivalries are fun but no one deserves an injury.

I'll try to find the photo again but I saw a picture of lee and bogut high fiving after the scuffle, they knew they couldn't win without it. Blazers made them look like fools by winning anyway

It's all good dude. Go Blazers.

But seriously, when are we going to hear something, anything, about penalties? If Portland is punished at all (beyond maybe a fine), I call BS.

Most likely at 6:30 PST. You know, right before the game, to screw us. lol.

I find it interesting that Outlaw was fined 15K on 11/24 (a Sunday) for something he did 11/23 (Saturday night) but we haven't heard anything. If the NBA doesn't place any fines/technicals on the players they would be admitting that the refs called it right on the floor.

Bogut's a right billy-no-mates.
