Did Freeland really say that? That's awesome.
Ya if he did, I just gained a whole lot more respect for Joel.

Yeah, I saw both things you mention. I guess I just don't care about in-game compassion between rivals. If LMA did it to Lee I'd want him to walk away and leave Lee on the floor, rather than stopping to help him up. ESPECIALLY in a heated game.... but lee was walking by with his chest puffed out instead of having class and making sure he was ok...
I'll try to find the photo again but I saw a picture of lee and bogut high fiving after the scuffle, they knew they couldn't win without it. Blazers made them look like fools by winning anyway
I'm thinking at this point we're in the clear [knock on wood]. The league wouldn't make an announcement to say that they aren't handing down any suspensions. Right?I find it interesting that Outlaw was fined 15K on 11/24 (a Sunday) for something he did 11/23 (Saturday night) but we haven't heard anything. If the NBA doesn't place any fines/technicals on the players they would be admitting that the refs called it right on the floor.

Actually, Ben Golliver handles BE's twitter feed from what I can remember.
Honestly, I'm okay with Mo getting a suspension. Despite the fact that he was being thrown around by bigger dudes and kept finding himself in the middle of enemy territory, he was doing an awful lot of swinging and flailing at people. Jermaine, especially considering his background, should also be suspended though.

I think it hurts more than people think it does. Thankfully it's only one game, and not a back to back.
From the link "Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut and Portland Trail Blazers guard Mo Williams have each been suspended one game without pay for fighting after Bogut initiated an incident by elbowing Trail Blazers center Joel Freeland in the jaw."
I'm glad they called Bogut out on starting the whole mess.
