I'll bet it was that douche "free throw guy." I'd like to punch him in the nuts.

LOL. Apparently somebody forgot to tell "Free Throw Guy" to do his schtick to the opposing players only. Noob.

"LAMare' Aldridge"
That's what Lund said is Lamarcus' new nickname in the locker room per Wes Matthews.

Word. Any bright spot is welcomed in this dark, gloomy, depressing Blazer season. Aldridge's past 2 dominant games are one of the few highlights this year. Here's hoping there's many more.

Yep, he will just need his Stockton to go with his Malone. Keep lifting LaMarcus.

They asked Aldridge about that after tonight's game, and LA said he hates it because he doesn't like Amare. I totally understand him.

LOL. That's hilarious. Didn't know he had such disdain for STAT.

BTW: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/dunk-o-meter/yearly

I think he had at least 6 or 7 tonight.

I find it interesting that after LMA the next Blazer on the list is Batum at 62 (although tied with a bunch of others at 13) and then Camby & Matthews with 5, Dante with 4 and then Roy finally hits the list with 2 a mere 1 more than Joel (who has barely played this season). No, dunks have never been a large part of Roy's game but an interesting note anyway.

Thanks for the find yuyuza.

I believe Free Throw Guy sits on the other side of the court so that he can harass the opposition, and not our guys, at the end of games.

Oh and LaMarcus should be able to hit free throws no matter what people are yelling at him. The guy's been in the league for over 4 years now.

LOL, Patty re-tweeted this.

I havent watched every game this season, but I've watched most of them. That was the most exciting and entertaining games I've seen so far this season. That type of play gets me pumped up for the next game. I was jumping off the couch and high fiving my wife after all those awesome dunks etc. Hate to say it, but I'm starting to believe in the "no Roy" idea.

It was 1 game.

Love still ended up with 19 and 17.

Love also had to be pulled from defending LMA in the first quarter. That's embarrassing. Then Love after the game on KGW News is smiling about his stats and said "I didn't quite have a 'Kevin Love' game, though."

What a douchebag. He gets embarrassed by LMA, then is happy with his stats when asked about them by KGW.

Love is very good at some aspects of the game - and will always have a place in the NBA - his rebounding is absolutely amazing - and he will be a starter caliber player for years, but his defense really, really needs work.

LMA does not have the motor and the consistency that Love has - but his talent is so much more - it is hard to compare them. If LMA really becomes the #1 option for this team - this silly LMA vs. Love thing would never surface again - and it's not because Love is bad, he is good, fantastic at some aspects of the game, but he also has big, big holes in his game.

Aldridge: "We got guys that can play" = Leader

Roy: "We need different personel" = Not

Pulled from defending him? They started the game with him defending Camby. A smart decision considering Aldridge is one of the more lengthy PF's in the game.

Love did his part. 19 and 17, can't really ask for more.

I think this sums it up best.

Love is sort of a junkyard player. Has to have a big motor or he'll get lost in the shuffle as he's not a super talented player. It's why I see him as a 6th man type on a contending team.

6th man on a contending team? lol ok.

A 6th man can have a big impact on a contending team. Nothing to laugh at.

Love is borderline terrible defensively and offensively he's not really a guy you can give the ball to and he'll make something happen 1 on 1. He's just not. Great motor but other than rebounding he's not physical overpowering and he can't kill you in a number of ways. IMO his best fit on a contending team is a 6th man playing 25-30min a game. He's not a guy who I would personally want in my starting lineup if I'm building a championship team.

You haven't really demonstrated a very level head when assessing Love as player. You are basing your thoughts of him off 1 game. A player doesn't just stumble into averaging 20ppg.

I've seen him play more then one game. I have a good idea what his strengths and weaknesses are. You can't tell me he's not borderline terrible defensively(they wouldn't even put him on Aldridge) and offensively he's a good shooter and scraps around the hoop for a lot of his other pts. That's mainly his game. He can't beat the best defenders off the dribble and he isn't the best finisher(gets shot blocked a ton+missed wide open dunk last night) in the world, either.

Definitely a good player but, imo, not a player I would want in my starting lineup if I'm building a championship team. If you disagree, that's fine.

dunno if anyone has the game on replay but watched it last night and caught the first two quarters trying to see where batum might have gotten hurt. saw that in the second quarter he boxed out love at the 6:45 min markish and love kinda yanked on his arm to get batum outta the way and batum started shaking his arm but played fine for the next minute or two until he got subbed out
