With the Tanaka decision due soon, lets make a few predictions. Name the day and time, along with the team and the money and years, the winner will receive the bag of Cheetos that Rick owes 59.

We may have to submit this to the replay booth for a final ruling. I think its poster interference and he's out
 
I will say 1/21 6 years/145 million with the Dodgers. I really want it to be the Yankees but I don't think they will go that high. If they do lose out on Tanaka who is next for them? They will need another pitcher. Time will be 2pm.

Over $24M/season? holy crap... wow...
 
I still say Wednesday the 22nd to the Dodgers. 6 years 110M & I'll still supply the goat testical/cheese dip.
 
I would think today or tmo will be announcement as contract language and more importantly physicals need to be finalized. I still say between yanks and dodgers and yanks will go the extra mile to simply outbid everyone for him.

What the #&%@ an opt out clause? What the hell is wrong with these stupid $*^%@$-%*%@^#* Don't they ever ^($@&*$ learn. Didn't the ^(#%*@% bull%*$# with A-Rod & CC teach them anything. I mean holy ^($@&#% hell.

no... they didn't learn... but if he does opt out of earning $22M/year (as it was point out on another thread), it means he had been dominant... so I'd take that if we came to that... but I agree... I HATE opt outs...

So there's a chance that after 4 years of 22M he could opt out & end up with 25-28M. What a totally screwed up system.
