In the browser, no ad.

^^^ that is from another account

Something you're doing. I don't see the ads.

So the Blazers are doing something wrong? (They were the ones who brought this to my attention.) I'm doing something wrong on two computers and a android smartphone? Mrs PokerDog is doing something wrong on her computer, tablet and smartphone?

I checked this in 4 different Windows browsers, 2 different android browsers and the twitter app. The Blazers use Apple products.

Your tweets have the ads, not mine.

Your machine shows ads for my tweets, mine doesn't.

Kinda points to your machine.

No ad for your tweet for me.

I do use tapatalk, specifically because it's easier for me to access the forum that way. One click on my phone and I'm there.

I have no plugins, addons, or apps on my computer or smartphone for Tapatalk. The Blazers don't either.

Listen, I don't want to turn this into some weird debate or argument. The Blazers brought a problem to my attention, I looked into it first to see if it was on my end or if there was something I could do not to have that ad embed into tweets. I can't find anything. It seems to point to Tapatalk. I don't like the Tapatalk screen that @santeesioux was referring to either.

I want to get rid of the Tapatalk functionality for the forum because I can't find anyway else to solve the problem.

I used to also. But you can put a shortcut to the site on your phone home screen. It basically makes the webpage an app-looking icon.

I've been using tapatalk but only because I didn't realize the browser version is now usable. I'm happy to get rid of tapatalk.

I use tapatalk, but I have no problems using the browser if it makes life simpler for the mods.

Tapatalk uninstalled.

I was a big fan of tapatalk before we switched to XenForo. The new software has a responsive design and I find the UX superior to tapatalk.

People who aren't so nerdy might have trouble changing the way they use the site.

We are not going to advertise tapatalk in our tweets.

It's one thing to tell people hitting our site that tapatalk is an option. But this is a company being evil.

When do you think the Tapatalk ad will stop embedding in tweets? Hopefully in the ToS agreement they don't have the right to do it forever.

Is Tapatalk like, woodpeckers chirping? The word Tapatalk makes me sing this song.

I think it's disabled. Try it now.

You need to make a new tweet. Twitter may have that content cached on their servers.

I think Twitter's servers have the content for that tweet cached. You need to try a brand new tweet.

There's no trace of "tapatalk" in the web pages:

Tweet a different URL

They cache based upon the URL (e.g. threads/tapatalk-blah-blah)
