I'll take anyone of those players. We need all the size we can get. Big Z is my first option because he is the best availabale player there and will give us an intimidator in the paint to help us defensively. Eddy Curry is better than Kwame Brown, but it makes you wonder there has to be something about him that caught people's eye to make him a #1 pick. Curry is okay I guess. Isiah loves him and was trying to get him ever since he became our President. I'm sure Aguirre can turn him into a beast, but defensively, he isn't so great. For someone his size, he's an absolutely terrible rebounder. 5.4 a game in almost 30 minutes is pathetic. Sweetney averages the same amount as him in 20 minutes. My ideal big man would be Dan Gadzuric though. He's not too much of a scorer, but in terms of rebounding and shot-blocking he's solid especially in the minutes he gets. He won't be expensive and might sign with us for the MLE. In terms of offense, he doesn?t really have a game, but we really don?t need any scorers on our team; we?re full of them.

I would go first with big Z,cause of his size and shooting range he could be a perfect fit for us in the long run and important in close games.
My second option would be Kwame Brown,I know he's atitud is a problem but that things can change in a instant with some help of our staff and players.

Kwame has shown signs of improvement & I think with a change of scenery could easily be a 15/10 guy. He still has potential & I hope the Cavs look at him if they can't re-sign Big Z.

Nice post, basically we need anyone at center, since we lost Kurt Thomas our only "center" is Sweetney and the raw Butler

But Big Z have the size and experience to be a great center in our team and usually center don't run the floor faster than a point guard.I have seen Big Z and he can improve he's defense in New York.

But centers need to ATLEAST move, BIG Z IS SLOOOOOW, and he wants the MAX . How can we pay max for a injury prone center? They are cheaper options.

^^ He for sure wont' come for the MLE. I don't think any of those guys mentioned in the article would. I agree with Mrj about gadzuric he seems like he could fit in as a role player on the knicks. At center all they really need is someone to rebound, block shots, and catch the ball for dunks. He fits that mold perfectly. I mean sweetney can score down low, and all around scoring wouldn't realy be a problem. They just need some defense, and athleticism.

Why are the Knicks looking for PF's when they already have 4 in JYD, sWeets, Rose, and Taylor? Maybe if they dropped these small pf's then they could add curry. Z is a very good Center. Outside shooter who can also defend and score in the post. I wouldnt give him a big contract. Maybe 2-3 years. Ilgauskas would be a huge improvement at Center. BTW Z was an all-star last year so he still has alot in him.

Who said the knicks were after pf's?
Z isnt all that good anymore. His defence is weak and his post game isnt all that great either. He does still have a jump shot....and his height i huess thats good for somethin.The main reason he was an allstar is because there arent any other good centers in the east outside of shaq.

stats don't mean anything, Jackie Bulter Shoots 100% per 48 minute does that mean he will make every shot? If you watch Big Z play he can't defend, he can rebound and block but is too slow to defend which is what this team needs. Curry and Brown I would like because they are cheaper options than big z and younger. BIG Z is like in his 30's while there are players in their 20's. Big Z was an all star, are you serious? You didnt make any valid points, even though Big Z shouldnt be on the Knicks, cause he's a short term player, not for the long term, he would have probably better options on a winning team.

If you ever saw Curry and Brown players they're not defensive players, atleast Big Z helps us what we're in WORST in, and thats shot blocking.


Kwame Brown hasn't proven himself, and Curry just became a good starter in this league, so don't jump the gun so quick pa.

Forget about Z and Curry, They should be concentrated on Jerome James. A young Center who can score and rebound. He showed that in the playoffs. Aguirre can make him really good.

Jerome James played well during the playoffs. I'm pretty sure the Supersonics are going to resign him and they can offer him alot more than we can. On the other hand the Supersonics havent always been willing to spend alot of money so they might let him walk. But even then their are other teams who can offer him more money.

A more likely player for us to get would be Curry. Would the Bulls be willing to trade Curry for Fyre?


Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.
