Teams are boycotting games

I think this effectively ends the bubble.

It will be interesting to see if NBA teams will hold the boycott beyond tonight. As more playoff games stand to be lost, not everyone (by which I mean, among the players) will be on board with ending the season. So how that gets navigated remains to be seen.

I was wondering how bad his sprain was. How long a knee sprain takes to recover from

The team has been pretty tight-lipped as far as the severity of his sprain. According to the Harvard Health site:

"How long a knee sprain lasts depends on the type of knee sprain, the severity of your injury, your rehabilitation program and the types of sports you play. In general, milder Grade I and Grade II MCL or LCL sprains heal within 2 to 4 weeks, but other types of knee sprains may take 4 to 12 months."

Dude shouldn't play. We should just pack it up. I'm so done with this season.

NCAA teams that are playing this fall next to boycott?

They'll play it out next time when Dame, Rodney and Zach are all healed and Ariza is ready...it's a theme

Even the courts say BLACK LIVES MATTER and the jersey's are all in support...the NBA and at least the Blazers have come out in support of this movement across the board...I don't think the league will argue about it if it ends now....I'm sure it'll trim a lot of paychecks which unfortunately will hurt the HCPs of the league more than the Damian Lillards

I do not see this ending the playoffs. I think it's more likely that it's just for tonight to draw attention, and then the games resume.

Maybe a few days, but I agree. I would give major props to players like LBJ who would actually sacrifice the chance of winning another championship in order to really draw attention to it. But in the end, they will say they can draw more attention to the issue by actually playing. (Which is true)

That is absolutely true. This a tightrope they have to walk.

You can still voice your opinions. This thread is about the boycotts. You're wanting to discuss what led up to the boycott and your opinions on the person who was shot by the police. I believe those are two different discussions.
