10-man rotation:
Dame
CJ
Hood
RoCo
Nurk

Ant
Trent
Jones
Collins
Kanter

No room for Melo. Who you got?

Echoing the need for a legit back-up PG.
Also, don't see minutes for 'Melo.
Gabriel is a nice 3rd string 4/5.
...and how did Little get left completely off the list?

It's rotation. I stretched it as it is have a 10-man rotation. You want 11-man?

If we were to sign a distributor for the second unit (eg, Augustin), I'd push Simons out of the rotation too.

Melo can take a walk

I wish we could afford Bradley, he’d help on D, and could run the second unit adequately. He’s from the PNW so maybe?

Some people are going to be horribly surprised when Hood follows the usual post-achilles trend and A) needs two years to heal up, and B) never gets back to 100% of what he was.

They have had to of seen him and evaluated his recovery to some degree I would think/hope.

Whose timeline is that? Wes was what he ended up being less than a year after the injury. Kobe was obviously different after but was back after a year. So who, in this age of platelet rich plasma therapy are you basing your timeline off of. You're right we shouldn't expect the same Hood back but he wasn't very reliant on explosive athleticism if he was reliant on it at all, so I don't know if the end result is much different.

It still probably makes sense to have either Dame or CJ on the court at all times given our current roster.

Trent can play the SG in the minutes that both Dame & CJ are not in.

Forward/Center situation will probably be situational given our opponents roster.

I wonder if there is any hope that Little makes a Trent-like jump this season?
Not if he's not in the rotation. But, as has been pointed out, injuries happen. I wouldn't be unhappy with Wenyen or Trent in the rotation at all.

Of course not. I know they just spent a lot of money on Jones, but he has less length and size/build than Little and is a worse shooter. No one is doubting his hops, but Little can fly as well. And he is a good defender...but I'm not sure anyone in the league played Siakim as well as Little did last season on one of the few ocassions he got big minutes.

I would enjoy your listing of who's in our rotation.

To start the season?
Dame/CJ/Hood/RoCo/Nurkic (if Hood is ready to start in 4 weeks)
Ant/Trent/Jones/Little or Gabriel/Kanter (Collins won't be ready to start the season. Ant may play very little and Dame/CJ roll with the 2nd unit)

Serious Question:
Who's guarding LBJ, and who's guarding AD?
In the playoffs it was Trent and Wenyen, what about now?

It really would help if we knew when Zach was going be back i i would say early January if he had his operation in September but it's going really depends on when he's back in the fold.

I ask myself the same thing, Nurk? He is 1-8 against Davis in the Playoffs, Collins? He would foul out in the 1st half if he has to guard AD, there are just a few who could guard or at least slow down AD and that's Embiid, Bam, Gobert?, Simmons, Draymond, Giannis and that's probably it. Lebron is unguardable

Trent, Jones, RoCo, Collins.

Maybe Little if he becomes a rotational guy.

Then we need Nurk to win Harrell matchup and DameCJ dominate their matchups.

Its going to be tough, there's a reason the Blazers aren't the title favorite the Lakers are.
