I'm an old fart and I've smoked plenty of weed. But I'll be damned if I'd be stupid enough to smoke it on national TV. What he does in private is one thing but to raise the ire of a large portion of the population when you're trying to sell cars is just plain stupid. If I were a large investor I'd kick him out tomorrow.

I never even implied that it made you a bad person.
I intended that it was poor judgement in that a lot of potential customers might not buy Teslas because of his very open smoking of weed.

Good grief, I smoked weed. An awful lot of the brilliant people who have worked on microprocessor design at Intel smoked weed with me in college. One buddy went on to do major design work at Advanced Micro Devices even smoked weed with me.

I haven't smoked any weed now in something like a few decadws )40 years?). But that's only for my reasons and I don't impress them on anyone else.
