Am planning meals for the week, and will do just that for Wednesday in their honor. So sorry for your loss. Have got a 15 year old son and am constantly in fear of something happening to him. Can't imagine how I would respond.

My wife is a dairy free type 1 diabetic, but I'm going to find a way to make this happen anyway for the fam on Wednesday.

Unfortunately, you can't remove politics from this tragedy. From budget cuts, to deregulation, to Federal help versus state help, the role of government and how issues like these can be prevented or the response improved will always be questioned. And that's not a bad thing.

Trump questioned many of these very same things during the flooding in North Carolina and the wildfires in Southern California.

These mother fuckers have had the money for an alert system since 2021 and they refused to spend it because it came from Biden but they wouldn’t give it back because they didn’t want the money to go to a blue state.

Fuck these people. Kids died because of these assholes. They should go to prison for this.

We've been packing and moving for the last week. Finished moving today just in time to head on a road trip to Vegas for the Nike Tournament Of Champions Basketball Tournament (AAU)

We left the house at 9pm, and hadn't had time for dinner yet.

The 76 Station in Mill City had cans of Spaghetti and Meatballs, and also tubs of ice cream. A quick Mug Root Beer added to a cup of ice cream, a clerk kind enough to nuke our dinner, and that was that.

What an idiot. Of course she's gonna say that in her current position. But if she was still a state governor and her underprepared state had been devastated by a natural disaster she would have been crying crocodile tears (she's used up all the alligator tears in Florida) for federal relief. We just get more fucked weigh every passing day......

Dog killer had issued an order no FEMA funds could be spent without her personal authorization. Search and rescue teams were ready in Texas but had to wait 72 hours until she could take time off from busy schedule posing in costumes and making threatening recordings to sign.

Apparently all things take time in Texas. It took officials 90 minutes to put out an alert AFTER a Kern County firefighter noted the rising river and requested the alert to given. By the time the "proper" officials gave their permission, hundreds were already dead.....and Ted Cruz was waiting at the airport for a flight to wherever....AGAIN! Shades of Uvalde and the great Texas freeze up. Everything is big in Texas, especially their fuck ups.......
