I don't know, I see Texas has a major Yankee-like problem today.....aging slugger critical to offense out due to injury.
 
Yankee like problem? Did the bluejay coach bench a 100mill + player , or do you think he would play a platoon player in a do or die situation cause of what he did in reg season?

Lol it has everything to do with it when you play for an organization that cares, that has a major league minded coach.

I don't follow this game as closely as you guys do but it's my understanding that Price was 1 -5 in. PS play, do you think the bluejay coach hesitated to start him because of that?

Wait...I thought playing the best team for that given day/situation is what all great managers do? Since when did contract size outweigh on field performance? I mean if that were the case then not even you would have tasted a cup of coffee in the show.

Pitchers don't pitch everyday, you have to look at more data points. Price had been quite excellent down the stretch.

...uhhh, no, it doesn't have anything to do with it....Price has not totally sucked for the last 2 months like Ellsbury has.... Cueto was acquired to be the ace of his team...did he get the start?...nope, and why?...because he has not pitched well recently.


...and oh, again, what was "deleted"?

Please just read in between the lines, when the reg season is over you throw everything out the window , big money players play in PS, that's it, they got the big contract cause they are proven, Jones and Gardner are not! That's just the way it is...

Now , girardi took a big gamble based on how some of you look at the game, and it back fired, horribly!!! And he should be canned based on that alone, but it ain't gonna happen for the same reason Cashman is still GM

I've been using mind control over the server to target deletion of specific ones and zeros.
 
Rick, lol, I know I'm crazy, and the zone is my fav of all time, have all episodes, and I know I'm not that crazy, but did I not post in a thread yesterday that all I wanted to hear was that girardi was fired and the following players gone arod tex Ryan Drew GuadawfulGardner yada yada yada, and you responded back 'you may get your wish with Drew and Ryan but today paper says girardi is going nowhere ? I can't find it

The idea of doing MLB Playoff game threads is so that the board stays active now that the Yankees are eliminated. Nobody wants game threads steered towards the same old tired arguments.

As for posts being deleted I didn't delete any posts and it would be rather easy to contact and for any of the admins to tell you whether or not a post had been deleted or not.
 
...Mess, he's already been shown that the post he was referring to is in fact still there.
