Texting canada

Not sure if it matters if you know my plan or not, but I have a Blackberry with sprint, and i was wondering if I could text to canada as part of my usual plan. i thought i once heard someone say that pretty much all plans include free texting to canada, but i may have hmade that up.

My answer would be no, as it is another country (right?), unless you got an international roaming plan.
