Sad, sad season of Giant football. It is time for Tom Coughlin
to retire; I think he will instead of management 'firing' him.

With the paltry assemble of talent on this proud football team,
the GM, Jerry Reese, needs to pay the piper; he should be fired.

The team needs a new direction. The slate needs to cleaned of all
bacteria............many players on this squad will be looking for
new employers.

Record: 6 - 10

Eli is correct. The players failed Tom Coughlin.

I do not think Tom C wants to end his stay with G-men.....
which makes this transition to a new head coach much
more difficult. Personally, I like Coughlin, but I really
believe it is time for a total change. That includes
releaving Jerry Reese as GM of the team.

If players from the last 4 drafts, with one exception,
have not made an impact, how do Giant owners
keep Jerry Reese ? He has failed to strengthen
the Giant D with talented players and build an
OL with the draft. He chose to go the FA route
which has become a disaster.

I will say this: If Giants keep Reese, the future
will be many years of mediocrity or worse.

It was time for Tom to go. Great accomplishments that can never be taken away from him. More importantly you would have a hard time finding a better man.

Agreed. Today is a sad day, but one that had to happen. It was time to move on, and IMO that isn't a bad thing or a knock on anyone. 12 years as a coach of a team is a very long time. No shame or negativity in simply saying it was time and we move on.

And Reese is going nowhere. Stinks, but I knew he'd be back. No shot the Giants get rid of everyone at once.

Jerry Reese's job is reportedly safe

Giants GM Jerry Reese's job is safe, according to Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL.com
