For bringing up the fact that David Ortiz was on that list of the original 105 players & yet he's treated like royalty.

...rick, it's kinda strange how many people choose to ignore that fact, isn't it?

As said here before, this is baseball hypocrisy at its best I feel.

Ortiz a acted like the only child in the house who still claims he didn't break the vase.

And the idiot Lackey really kills me. He was quoted as saying that he doesn't think A-Rod should be allowed to play. H E L L O!! moron alert. But its okay that your guy Ortiz is playing. Geez, another clown heard from.

There were people on that '02 Championship Angels Team as well.

The Red Sox have been protected via George Mitchell, who despite being a board member of the Red Sox - was stupidly declared as "independent" by Bud Selig when tasked with investigating and filing his report on PED use in MLB. Predictably, he focused his efforts on trashing his team's biggest rival, while not bothering to look in the clubhouse 20 yards from his seat at Fenway.

By years end Ortiz will have approx 30 HRs & 100 RBI while finishing in the top 5 in hitting. Oh & did I mention that he's almost 38?. Who said you can't get better as you get older? And he's missed around 20 games this year.

It's just amazing how he became a HR hitter after he joined the Sox. Hell in his 1st 5 years with the Red Sox he averaged 41 HRs & 128 RBI. (2003-2007) But hey...I'm sure its just a coincidence.
