I meant to write this a few days ago but got busy. I have praised LA for finally listening to his coaches and banging inside, I praised Batum for getting aggressive after Parson's dogged him (that was short lived). Everyone has praised Lillard for his game 6 dagger.
However, I wanted to take the time to thank Lillard for something he did not do. He did not listen when time after time he was told he was not good enough to make it. I am glad he was such a defiant bastard, I am glad he made it to the NBA, I am glad 4 teams were stupid enough to pass him up, Pelicans get the lone pass with A. Davis.
P.S. Management thanks for not listening to my trade idea for Lillard either, Conley is a great NBA player but this team needs a nail driver and a leader someone with balls and icey veins. LA went to the post and did work but it was Lillard who carried us in that series. I overlooked Lillard's brass balls when I made that trade suggestion.
