I'm sure Trump will force airlines to not lose your bag. Finally no more cheap skates cramming bags too big into the over head bins and sitting smugly in their window seat. Together we can make flying great again.

I am actually quite for this, sort of, if it actually helps lessen the overhead bin use.


I hate having to wait for the dipshits to get their bags out of overhead storage while were trying to debark the damn plane. It literally for me is the worst part about flying. Standing around for the plebs to figure out how to adjust the jenga pieces while they all try to get in at the same time. Then add in the pushing and shoving from people trying to walk down the aisle while this is all happening...

I usually either pay for a seat up front, or use SW's early bird check in to get A seating, sometimes we'll even do first class to avoid it all together.

Failing United Airlines charging innocent travelers to use overhead bins. SAD! This will not happen during my administration. I will charge United a 35% tax for landing on any airport and give that money to other airlines offering discounts to passengers.

I was never a fan of HRC, but I've always thought Trump was a POS. As an American and a small business owner, it's only fair I give him a chance to prove me wrong. I don't believe a word he says or tweets, and his actions and their consequences will be what I really pay attention to.

With that being said, may some of you that are smarter than me can answer me this...does this deal with Carrier not set a dangerous precedent? Wouldn't large companies that weren't even thinking of leaving the US threaten to now in order to potentially get a large tax break from Trump?

It wasn't the money, $7M in tax breaks, that influenced Carrier. It was the threat of no government contracts.

I'm all in favor of slashing the spending for government contracts. Let businesses make money the old fashioned way (earn it). Let government buy only what it needs.
