Thanks Trump

Promises are lovely, but so far that's all they are. I'll be tired of winning when we see actual results. Right now it looks like stock market manipulation and little else.......how's that promise to put Clinton in jail working out for you?
No need to be butt hurt buddy. The issue with Clinton will decided by the new AG, not president. I like our chances.

You want results? Well, it's nice knowing our new awesome president elect just set up a tech summit with the biggest tech players all confirming they will be there. How you like them apples?

He's not acting butt hurt at all.

He's stating the obvious. Promises have to pan out to make Trump look effective.

But the promises do give some real hope for a change.

Butt hurt??? Hardly. Just noticing how many promises and pledges your boy has already walked back. How are YOU going to handle it if and when he doesn't follow through? Or if all the "little people" who bought his brand of bullshit find out they've been had and turn on him? Are you going to call them "butthurt" also. That's the easy way to go.....

DOW 20000 is good for pension funds, 401K, etc.

Fed decision to raise rates is good for people living on a fixed income.

Higher rates is bad for real estate and people paying interest on credit cards, mortgages, and other loans.

Higher rates is also bad for the Feds, who are paying hundreds of $billions in interest already (to the rich, who can afford to loan the money), and will be paying even more. Thanks Obama.

Sorry, the comment of being butt hurt was when you made a dig on Hillary being jailed.

As for the "promises..." He is keeping them by working hard to try and bring jobs in. Not keeping it would be him not working on bringing jobs in after elected.

The best thing about the people eye-balling Trump and scoffing on his promises is that they for some reason think that Hillary Clinton was going to do any better! This woman wanted to keep the status quo and continue her legacy of corrupt cronyism. I am not sure why anyone at this point would be complaining about Trump's actions so far. All he has done at this point is shown how much he wants to rebuild this Nation.

Edit: I am talking about people as in "MSM, twitter-verse, etc" nobody in particular here except maybe Rasta ;)

I supported Johnson all the way and made that very clear in this forum. I'd laugh my ass off if HRC went to prison (and would probably contribute to "hiring" a big mean bull dyke to be her new husband). My point is he made a point of promising to prosecute and/or jail Clinton. Now he's saying he wont do that. The one promise I had hoped he would follow through on (if malfeasance was actually proven) he couldn't run away from fast enough......so in that respect, I am indeed "butthurt".

There's two aspects to prosecuting Clinton to consider.

1. It sets a precedent I don't think we want to set. The winner actively prosecuting the loser of elections.
2. It is a way to reach out to Clinton's voters. All but the butt hurt ones, anyway. He wants to bring the people together, not create a partisan wedge between his voters and those who didn't vote for him.

Great Post! I stand corrected and retract my "butt hurt" comment. I agree with you on most of what you just said. Trump must follow through on this front. The "jobs" is what got him elected. If he brings them in mass, he will guarantee a second term.

I agree with this. Trump shouldn't try to actively prosecute but the AG can. At least we know that the new AG will indict if the evidence supports the indictment. It's actually out of Trump's hands now. Hillary can hope and pray she's either "pardoned" or no new evidence will be presented.

Yes. Clinton cannot continue to commit crimes. Any existing investigations by Obama's executive branch, or any new ones dictated by evidence of crime should proceed.

She's probably under investigation for the Clinton Foundation already.

You have many on here gloating and openly trying to bait others. Not exactly the best way to woo support for your candidate. It's like Laker fans coming to the Blazers board to smack talk. With that said, I will try to give Trump a chance. So far he hasn't done anything to assuage my fears that he will embroil the US in an unnecessary military conflict. But, I will try to wait and see. His cabinet selections are pretty horrific. His constant tweeting is not very Presidential. He has already pissed off China without even being president. So far, that's not such a good sign in my book. Now, he is getting some support from a variety of business types, and hopefully that is genuine, and gives me some reason to think he won't fuck the whole thing up, but I'm not that optimistic right now.

Those who gloat deserve to. Consider the rhetoric from the left all along. Made to feel they're the "deplorables" for years.

He doesn't talk like he wants war. You have some example? Seems like he's more interested in cutting deals that achieve our goals. Like with Russia and N. Korea.

Someone needs to take his twitter account away.

Fuck China. They were granted MFN status by Clinton and the democrats in the 90s and they've done nothing but distort the markets. Through currency manipulation, slave labor, dumping, IP theft, and more.

His cabinet picks? He's got guys giving up $100M in annual compensation giving all that up to take a puny government paycheck. They aren't in a position to make themselves richer (assuming they sell their positions and blind trust, like Cheney did).

Well 1) the gloating is getting personal -- see http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/cheeky.307451/ -- which is I think a scourge on this forum and driving people away. I know you hate Hillary, so you think this is the best celebration ever, but it has driven good posters away. 2) Not exactly the way to build a coalition or support for your candidate. If that's not their goal, then fine. But you can't expect to grow your support by acting that way.

My examples won't probably resonate with you. There is
But my fears are my own. You are free not to be worried about this.

Totally agree, but I don't see that happening.

OK, fine, but they have already flown a nuclear bomber over the South China Sea to demonstrate their issue with departure from the One China policy. See above re: fears. So, you can say fuck China, but then you do realize you are heightening tensions with a large nuclear power.

Some are okay. But some are seriously scary. Like really scary. Not exactly reassuring me that his administration is not going to be a huge Trumpster Fire.

I still want to try to see and wait, but Trump isn't showing me anything so far to suggest that his Administration isn't going to be a huge train wreck. He better hope he doesn't lose Congress in 2 years. If you thought all the Hillary hearings were hilarious, you are going to love all the Trump hearings. Sad times that this is what our government wastes time on.

Lame example in the first part. Dude won't even see the thread if we're all on ignore. Crybullies can run and hide if they want, for once they don't get their way and they explode like a brick of C4. It's sad.

Sure, weird of me to think that implying that a poster was being sodomized would be over the line. Butthurt actually originated from implying being spanked. But, that thread seemed to imply a different connotation.

Well don't give up yet. While I do not expect Trump to push the issue of HRC himself, I wouldn't rule out the new AG having the finale say in closing this page of history.

Trump isn't going to use nukes. He's a businessman, not a military tyrant. His military advisors aren't going to suggest it.

But by putting it out there, he's flexing our muscles.

There may be a Trumpster fire, but why not wait and see instead of acting like it's already happening? What's happening is deal after deal bringing jobs, meeting with people whose views he didn't share during the election, and virtually all his appointees aren't corrupt lifelong politicians.

I'm going to judge him by what he does. Not by what the butt hurt on twitter are ranting about.

Spanked.

As in, "You got spanked."

A good whooping.

Reason to cry.

It may not seem like this, but I am honestly trying to wait and see. Maybe I am not doing a good enough job.

I don't like Pence at all. Oh well, eh? Someone has to liaison between the white house and congress to get bills passed.

I just hope they're not really awful things. I suspect there's enough of a Liberty Caucus and Tea Partiers to prevent the worst from happening.

What has he actually done? His appointees haven't done anything yet.

Jobs, jobs, jobs. Deals, deals, deals.

He's made it clear the status quo, where America is getting the raw end of the deal, is going to end.

I'm ok with him until he actually does something bad.
