Never bet on Colorado. Just visit there. Much better use of money.

I’ve been. My cousin is CU grad and lived there still.

I didn’t anticipate Colorado’s top 3 receivers going down to injury. The game was still there for the taking.

Don't disagree there. I just love watching them lose.

Ducks landed the #1 DT in the 2026 class Tomuhini Topui out of Mater Dei
rivals and 247 have him as a solid 4* but respectively rate him the 11th & 8th best DT. Definitely a stud though who I'd guess probably plays NT for UO. Fun note... he visited USC recently and the talk was they thought he was all Trojans

Lanning has landed so many kids out of Mater Dei... two in the last class (2024) two in this class & now two in the class following. Historically it's been one of the top HS in the country at producing football talent. I can't believe their firehose of talent is now turned our way.

It's being reported that Oregon is expecting several more commitments in the next week. If one is Jahkeem I will shit a brick

Imagine being Ohio state and losing to a less than full strength oregon team that's still better than you.

Damn do they fucking suck.

SCOREBOARD BITCHES
I read on a Buckeye forum that going into the Duck game they'd been on a magic carpet ride this season as far as avoiding injury. Like pretty much nothing.

How can you claim that you beat yourselves when Oregon should have won by at the very least 7-8 points.

Muffed PAT
Botched 2 point attempt
missed Field goal
Turnover on downs 4th and goal instead of field goal.

Thats 8 points right there. That’s not even counting if Holden hadn’t been a moron and we had gotten 7 instead of 3 on that drive. Or that obvious INT that the refs missed.

Not to mention an interception that was not called that led to a TD for the Buckeyes. That’s 15!

2nd helping of schadenfreude for anyone? Two of UW's 2025 verbal commits were at the game on Official Visits. TE Vander Ploog & OT Zac Stascauski might not be their kind of guys

Those are some good Big 10 type names. I’m sure Iowa is jealous if we land them

No, Ohio State is awesome and we’re better,

haha that’s not how it works. College football polls are always weighted by who you beat and how you beat them.

It’s why Oregon fell from being higher ranked early in the season all the way down to #9

The Ducks have no losses and have most compelling win.
Ducks got a total a 8 first place votes between the AP and Coaches polls. Texas is still a nearly unanimous #1.

so...anyway

my wife insisted on a 'camping' trip to the coast in October and the only time we had available was the 9th thru the 15th. So yeah, I missed seeing the game on live TV. We were in Lagoon campground south of Florence and I mad occasional trips out to the pickup to check out the game on the radio. My last visit was right when OSU kicked the FG to go up 31-29. Ducks drive down to the one and drive stalls (damn!). Thankfully it wasn't Moldenado kicking so Ducks up 1

then sweating bullets. After the QB slide with 6 seconds left...confusion...then the announcer says "the Referees have left the field...game over!...Ducks win!"

went into the RV and poured a vodka

going to watch the game on the DVR this evening

Kind of reminds me of the Oregon-OK game. (the infamous onside kick game)
I was on a plane to Kauai when the game was going on. I landed and turned on my phone and had a ton of texts and VMs that were mostly incoherent. Just pretty much people screaming. It was obvious that we won, but I had no clue what had happened. It was a week before I saw the replay.

Nobody had any idea what had happened. Including the officials.

That was a joke. I feel bad for that one.

Yeah, when I watched the replay it was one of the worst officiated games ever....from the first quarter on. The Ducks got screwed early. The Sooners got screwed in the "end"
One of my most memorable games in my career. One of my cameras I was responsible for was the up camera that had the best tight look at that play. This was pre-official replays. Sometimes the refs looked, sometimes they didn’t.
Producer screams, “Does anybody have a good look at that!?” I was the only one who did……. I didn’t want to sell it, because I knew if somebody saw it, my Ducks would have lost that game. I did and we showed it over and over and over……was super bummed.

How they didn’t make the right call on that one, I’ll never know.

That one felt like Uncle Phil may have pulled some levers... I'm sure he didn't. But it had that feel...
