Grant would be good if, he focused on hustle/defense and didn't care about shots, like Nas.

Why don't the Hawks want him? They just gave him a big contract and are coming off an ECF appearance. Just wondering.I think the solution to our problem is on the trade block , John Collins.

That’s a balanced lineup. The question is does any combo of CJ/Norm/RoCo/Nance/Picks work to get him?
From what I’ve read he doesn’t wanna be there, same situation as Reddish. Who knows but out of the 4s supposedly available (Randle, Grant, Simmons, Collins) I like Collins the most. He’s also stroking it from 3 at over 40 % this season. Why don't the Hawks want him? They just gave him a big contract and are coming off an ECF appearance. Just wondering.
Yes please.Nurkic, Simons and Covington to Minnesota for Towns?
I'm not interested in Grant. He was overrated in the 2020 playoffs. How much better is he than Covington when working him into our system? We gotta trade for All Stars.View attachment 44441 View attachment 44442
I’ll take either of these.
Our 1st the Bulls own goes to Det in that trade.
Me too. But we need better than Collins. Trading good players for good players won't make much of a difference. We need All Star talent. Simmons, Randle, Brown, etc.I'd take Collins over Grant.
That works for me but if I'm the Wolves I let that cake bake and maybe make an opportune move around the margins. Towns and Edwards are a potent combination. DLo isn't bad. They have some young promising forwards.Nurkic, Simons and Covington to Minnesota for Towns?
Who are we getting back in such a deal? Porzingis? Do they really want to move off him? We're not running a charity here.Mavs lost Hardaway, time to ship them CJ.

Towns got outplayed tonight by Nurk and we wanna throw in more? He's soft as baby shit too. Great scorer. But that may be the only thing he has on Nurk when he's engaged.

I was thinking CJ/RoCo for JC/Bogdan might work.i think we should really explore that route. Atlanta is a bit desperate right now and Collins has not been very happy there. RoCo+Powell for Collins+Lou Williams would work cap wise. We get younger and more athletic and he is locked for 3 more years. Of course this is not enough, but it's a start. Then we have to move CJ.

CHI lost DJJ last night for 2-4 months and are desperate for a PF - lets send them Roco or Nance and get our pick back
That seems like a bit of a stretch. I can't imagine anyone giving up on a top 5 pick (even an injured one) that quickly for RoCo and NanceChicago was on a roll, but injuries have slowed them down. They are very thin at PF. Would they be willing to part with Williams (who has also been hurt) to bolster their front court? Who knows when they will have this good of a chance again for a title. They don't need a star at PF, just solid options to go with Vuc/DRoz/Ball/Levine. Of course I'd like to get our Draft pick back as well, but if we are getting Williams (long shot), it wouldn't matter as much.

So when can we see CJ and Covington for Prozingis and Finny Smith?Scotto says Blazers are one of the teams interested in Finney Smith.
Also said Cleveland and Minnesota are among the teams interested in Roco

Btw with Hardaway probably out for the season, Dallas could get more aggressive in going after someone like Powell. That was a fit even before the injury and I believe they’ve been connected to him in the past. If Portland really is interested in DFS, there could be a deal to be made. A trade of DFS/Bullock for Powell and one of our minimums would get us under the tax. DFS is a FA after the season, but he should cost less than Powell. Could also free up a trade involving Roco.
We definitely approached the game as if he is soft, but I'm not sure if that worked. Nurk was not able to knock him back on postups. Our strategy of guarding him with smaller guys seemed to work generally though it seemed we often brought too much help and were thus vulnerable to him passing to open guys.Towns got outplayed tonight by Nurk and we wanna throw in more? He's soft as baby shit too.
DFS doesn't make much sense to me. He's a FA this summer and due for an extension and is already 28. He's a low level starter. Unless we get him for our minimum guys, I have little interest.Scotto says Blazers are one of the teams interested in Finney Smith.

Agreed, he's a decent player, but I want guys we have control over going forward if we're making moves.DFS doesn't make much sense to me. He's a FA this summer and due for an extension and is already 28. He's a low level starter. Unless we get him for our minimum guys, I have little interest.
