This shit better blow up in Morey's face and I hope he's left paying Harden 200 mil to get fatter on cheesesteaks

Ah look at this. A trade thread! Didn’t see it.

Chubby Chia on the move. Philly in need of depth now. Badly.

On the other side of this, if KD gets back healthy and Simmons plays and isn't a complete trainwreck, they could be very dangerous.

Any hope for Simmons this summer just took a large hit. It was a long-shot at best, but it needed BRK and PHI to not come to a deal.

Wow!!! What a blockbuster. I think this trade makes a Nets/Sixers ECF very likely and incredibly entertaining.

which is such bullshit and obvious tampering. Haynes had mentioned a few weeks back that other teams were already raising alarm about the overt tampering, especially given the connections Harden has to one of the owners of the Sixers. Hope the league does something so this slimy POS doesn't get rewarded like this.

Like for example, you think his hiring of Phil Beckner was an accident this summer?
I agree 100%...

This pisses me off more than it probably should. There is not justice in this world where Morey gets rewarded like this.
How is this a reward? He's giving up 2 picks and Curry for a questionable Harden. He could have had CJ and picks for much less, months ago.

Harden has a ceiling of being a top 5 player. I really hope this blows up for him and Harden gets fatter but the narrative now is that Morey was proven right. And that pisses me off.

I want so badly for the Embiid-Harden experience to blow up.

The last time Morey tried to pair Harden with an elite big man, it ended very badly for them. I feel bad for Embiid. He deserves better than this.

I guess that may be the narrative, but it's only one perspective. IMO, the narrative could just as easily be that Morey torpedoed his best trade asset's value, and had to attach multiple other pieces to it in order to salvage something. The idea that he won somehow shouldn't be considered unless Harden actually elevates the Sixers, which is questionable.
