Not loving the way that 2nd quarter went. Need to resurrect our offense in the 2nd half.
 
Looks like Detroit's gonna run the clock out on us and win it with a last second field goal.

Couldn't stay undefeated forever...
 
I feel like the Commanders are complete pretenders. They're 5-2, with the league best point differential, but their wins are all over terrible teams (CLE, CIN, CAR, NYG, ARI) that have combined records of 9-25. I'd like to think that the Bears will be a tougher opponent, but they're likely paper tigers as well, have a similar resumé, with four wins over CAR, TEN, JAX & LAR (6-20 combined). Crazy to me to think that looking at Washington's schedule, they could win 11 games this year without beating a single >.500 team.

They were struggling until they got CMC, then went on a tear. But it's super rare for a team to be able to collect that much talent at once, and Shannahan squandered it.

The team needs to be gutted. To many players making a ton of money that are giving very mediocre performances.

The first part of your statement doesn't make sense. The 9ers were in the superbowl in 2020. McCaffrey has only played a year and half for them.

Umm, 2020 was 4 years ago. I'm talking about the season leading up to them getting CMC.

They were 3-4 coming off getting destroyed by the Chiefs, then they won 12 games in a row after getting CMC, and lost to the Eagles in the NFC championship game after literally losing all of their QBs.

Then they went to the superbowl again with CMC last year.

Now they are back to struggling.
 
Niners are gonna have to pay Purdy 60 million a year soon. That makes me nervous. When you pay qbs a ton of money and they aren't elite, the teams end up sucking.

I think they could franchise him, and the going rate for that at the moment is 38 mil.

But yeah, if they can't win, while having the luxury of not having to pay their starting QB much, they're totally blowing it. Their super bowl window is shut.

The contract they gave to Aiyuk was insane.

They have too many injuries. CMC, Aiyuk, Deebo. Purdy isn't elite so he needs help.

That's part of it. But Deebo and Aiyuk weren't playing well when they were healthy. And they have almost 60 million per year invested in those two. They're also getting old...

Time for a rebuild.

Freaking amazing! All I can think is that he was somehow thinking, "If this dude hits my knees, I want them to bend the correct direction". Other than that, I can't conceive of how someone even attempts that move.
 
What’s wrong with the Cowboys? They had such promise going into the season.
