Chargers didn't get the help they needed today, but luckily they have the lowly Pats next weekend. Getting to the playoffs in Harbough's first season as coach is a great result, in my opinion. It's nice to finally have some hope in one of my favorite teams.

This Lions-Vikings game is pissing me off. And it really shouldn't. I don't believe in Darnold, I haven't all year...I shouldn't be surprised that he can't make big plays in a big game. But watching it happen is different than just knowing it, especially when you then see Jared Goff be on a completely different level.

This is a really good game. Both teams just beating the shit out of each other.

Great game if you don't have a dog in the fight. Terrible game if your team's playoff positioning is dependent upon Sam Darnold not overthrowing his wide receivers.
 
I agree Platy. Darnold has looked bad. It has been frustrating to watch. Vikes have an awesome coach. If they have any belief in JJ next year, I'd let Darnold walk instead of overpaying him.
 
Will be great to win 14 games, but lose twice to the Lions and then have a first round visit to the only other team they've lost to this year.

Yes...he has unquestionably earned a payday, but some other team needs to give it to him. Get McCarthy healthy and get him in there. Keep Daniel Jones as his backup. Let Jones start if JJ's not ready. Either way, Darnold isn't our franchise QB
 
Even Nick Mullens is on the sidelines disappointed by Darnold's QB play...

If ever there were a reason to be able to challenge not-called DPI, that was it.
 
Campbell and Goff are simply better than O'Connell and Darnold. There's no getting around it.

I don't hate the Vikings. No real opinion. But a good friend is Lions fan and he rooted for my ill fated Ducks, so ..
