Because Nic is French I doubt he's even celebrating Thanksgiving. Who wants a player on the team that doesn't enjoy American holidays.

He is going to get what Parsons got or more somewhere. Does anyone really want him killing us in the next few years?

IMO he is not worth anywhere near what Parsons got (neither is Parsons), but perhaps someone will pay him that much, I hope its not Portland.

I posted it earlier in this thread but I think it bears repeating. You can't let Nic walk. We will already be over the cap at that point. So you have to sign and keep him or sign and trade him.

I'm surprised there are still so many fans still drinking the batum koolaid. Look, he is a fine player. Versatile. I'd happily keep him if Paul was willing to sign rolo and Wes this off-season. But if we had to make a choice, you choose Wes today. Wes is a good defender, three point shooter, scorer etc and fits well with lillard. His work ethic and motor are huge for the team.

Batum brings a unique skill set to the team, I just feel his role is more easily replaceable.

If we have to choose one or the other, I think you trade batum for a veteran role player sf and a pick from 10-15 if possible.

If I could only pick one I pick Wes too but we will know the answer to this plenty ahead of time. Wes will be signed first. So it isn't Wes vs Batum unless you really think Paul is going cheap which I just don't see at all.

Absolutely this! If we look like contenders, Allen will go deep in his pockets to get everyone to come back. So basically, this is all relative.

Batum is looking like late-career Tayshaun Prince.

His PER will dip into the single-digits if he stays in this slump - and he has the ball in his hands A LOT.

6 points, 0-5 from 3. And they were open, 3s, not the contested variety that Dame and Matthews have to put up from time to time. Can't believe some idiots are continuing to defend him.

New slogan for me - I am sick of Nic. He's turnin into "Turkeyglue" before out eyes

this is a "glue guy", hmmmmm

That's actually an accurate comp - Raptors Hedo Turkoglu: 11/5/4 with a 13 PER.

I never really understood what a "glue guy" means. Is a player that rarely shoots and just passes the ball? Well I'd be fine with that as long as he made a high percentage.

Actually no we don't. We can let him walk.

And you are aware his contract is up the year after we sign all our players right? We should be over cap when we have to sign him.

Letting him walk only gives us a roster space

TIL that PRP is the periodic table symbol for lead.

He pretty much stunk the court up last night. At some point he has got to have a good game. At least you would think so?

ridiculous comment by Nic, how bout stayin after practice and shooting several hundred 3's like many other guys have done to get the shot back, that's what I want to hear him doing - not some stupid comment about PRP

Or take more time off to heal, rest, and relax. Let Crabbe start in his spot and go on another win streak! :devilwink:

He's clearly hurting the team with his play right now. Some of the blame need to go to Stotts for giving him 35 minutes, when he's struggling to make any sort of contribution.

We should be going with smaller, 3 guard lineups until he can prove he can be trusted with starter's minutes.

Maybe you shouldn't go for benching a starter just yet? I mean they did just have a 9 game win streak and lost only to the best team in the league right?
I kinda think there is a little overreaction on this thread. He had a bad game last night but he played pretty well the game before and i'm willing to bet he plays pretty well on Sunday. Going with the Bench Move at this point is a little ridiculous don't you think?

I think so as well unless this continues for 2 or more games. But hey, what do you expect? There were a lot of people who wanted to cut Crabbe just last year.

I have no problem resting him so he can heal and get his knee stronger, the way he has been playing is not helping the team, so get him well and give him at least a few weeks off - better doing this then having him subpar all yr
