This confirms the eye test. Anyone notice that Simons fell out of the rotation vs Lakers? Even without CJ, he played 5 minutes. Disaster.

Hood is even more of a disaster. Worst player in the NBA by RPM. And don't peek 5 lines up because Giles is right there.

at least Hood has a good excuse. Coming back from his injury is a real rocky road. Most players never make it back to what they were before. Looks like Hood will be one of those

by the way, I like stats but I think there is a lot of reason to be skeptical about ESPN's RPM rankings. Lots of noise in the numbers that last couple of seasons in my view

He’s trash dude. He’s actually gotten worse this last few weeks. He gets ripped at half court now. If he’s not hitting 3s which he’s pretty good at I’ll give him that but he literally gives you nothing else beyond that.

Yeah I agree about RPM. It’s a high variance stat and kind of a black box as to exactly how it works. Plus I think they reworked it drastically about a year ago because I noticed major ratings changes for various players even ratings from past years.
